Maybe there is hope for VAWA unit? Deny 2 times? How many times can you refile? Sara is not telling us something, probably many things. If you already had a visa or AOS why bother with I-360? Something very strange here.

I can't tell you whole story about me maybe you are USCIS officer. if i will tell you every thing you will deny my case 4th time. now I will entered in USCIS from other door.

SARAH kHAN I just hope you are not filing the form I-360 with the same lawyer that filed your I-290B, because he filed an appeal after 10 months of the denial when the law says 30 days, he must be a bad lawyer.

I filed I-290B after 10 months of denied VAWA. I-290B should filed within 33 days after denied.

I applied in june'2009.denied in dec'2010. appeal in oct'2011 denied in sep'2012

sarah kan make sure you will include "everything" they need to approve your Vawa case this time, for sure something was missing and you couldn't prove that you were battered and/or a bonafide marriage. Do you have someone representing you? make sure if the same person will represent you again he/she does not just send everything all over again without adding and/or changing something in your case, otherwise you will get the same result. Are you in removal proceedings?

Sara khan "deny" it means "refuse to grant", if you got a letter saying your case was denied it means your case wasn't approved by Immigration. Did you get a denial letter?

Im new here.I've been reading all your post all the time here.I just have a question , My vawa was approved last year.Now, I am fillin for adjusting my status.I had my BIO taken last dec 12 and dec. 19 my case was transferred to another office for processing.I'm still waiting for my ead.My passport will expire on april.My question is, Do i need my passport for my green card interview?It will take me 3 months to renew my passport and I/m very worried If i will renew my passport they will schedule me for my interview.I'm worried also if I don't renew my passport they might schedule the interview and my passport is expired.ANy suggestions? I am new in this forum I applied i-765 with my case reopen(I-290B) I didn't get any thing in mail even no touch this is almost 3 month passed.

what should I do my lawyer said that USCIS has a lot of burden of cases.

On USCIS web site they are invited those people on telephonic conference on nov,17 at 1'clock who want to know about their vawa case.

Congrats!! THIS IS VERY GOOD NEWS!!!!

I sent my RFE in April 2010 and so far no response. I called USCIS customer service a while ago and was instructed to wait 45 days before contacting them. I called USCIS again today -10/18/2010 and was given an email address to email VSC directly to request a response.

I do not have a lawyer and cannot afford one at this time. Do you think it's a good idea to email VSC requesting a reponse without a lawyer or should I wait?

Please any suggestions.
