Interview day is coming up -
Green Card just arrived today! Wow! A week and a day after our interview. Prrraise God!

still no word on SSN- which is holding everything up.... come on guys!

FYI - Double-check with your DMV if they require that his I-94 be 60+ days valid. Our SSN delayed too long that when we went to the CA DMV, they said his I-94 was going to expire within 60 days so he couldn't apply for a driver's license. In the end, we had/have to wait for his Green Card to arrive.

Good morning VJ family. Not sure how to take this one. My honey told me that all they need is the wetern union reciept and more evidence but to return after the hoildays with it. Nor sure how much more considering that I sent EVERYTHING!! I guess when my honey gets home, we will talk more about it. Thats all they need and he will have the visa. It may be this evening by the time I get another update.

So I emailed the embassy Sept 7- yesterday after we already had our results I got an email from them- 3 months! Can you believe that!!! It doesnt matter now.... 12 days to POE

This is so dynamite! I'm trying to think if there's anything you should take with you re: visa stuff. You know what: Taking a printer/scanner + extra toner for him (if he has a computer) might be helpful (esp. so that he can scan any paperwork he receives that you need to see); any documentation of stuff he's going to need (to save FedEx costs); perhaps a prepaid cell phone he can use to call you when he is en route to the U.S.... other folks, any thoughts?

My king picked up his Visa July 9 in the Morning and left Ghana July 9 at Night! My king is here! Thank You Jesus!

The trip was nice but short. I already want to return. LOL I just wish he had came home. Embassy was a waste of time, they couldnt do anything for us. even though they had his papers waiting to be picked up. Just cause they havent notified him, he couldnt get them.

Thank you everyone who has encouraged me through this journey! I am taking a deep breath and believing God for delivery of my king this weekend!

After 3 weeks of waiting for Visa..Embassy says they were unable to be printed turned 150 people away without their Visa...including my king! Next Friday pick up! Just Ridiculous!

Absolutely ridiculous! But, thank God He is unchanging, always stays true to His Word, and does exactly what He has said. The Embassy can act any which way they want, but God is in control. Always has been, always will be. We are yet believing the report of the Lord, not the Embassy or anyone else for that matter. Be encouraged, Brunell! Big hug from all of us to the two of you.
