I just received a I-797, Notice of Action and it says that our petiton has been approved and forwarded to the listed consulate (but there is no consulate listed anywhere on the notice). Does anyone know anything about this form? I tried to post on a forum but am unable to figure out how that works so hoping someone reads this post and can help answer my question. Thanks.

After your petition is approved, it goes for a few days to the NVC to register your information. Then your entire application packet is sent to the Embassy in Tunis where your fiance will have an interview scheduled to see if his entry visa is approved. This process can take about a month or two. You will have to make sure he has all the documents ready from you for this packet to take with him.

Not sure which is worse...the waiting for the last seven months or the next seven hours?!!
