      it took about 5weeks..SIF is wen u try to sign into the NVC it will say "failure" this means ur case is complete in the US and is being sent to the consulate

    Called NVC today to get an update on wether or not they have all necessary documents to complete the case. There response is they are still reviewing and it is taking up to 6 weeks. They now have had my docs. for 2.5 weeks with no response at all. Is this normal or does it appear there could be something wrong?

      My sign in failed today but the AVR still says " recieved docs on Sept. 27..wait 4-6 weeks for review...is this normal or does it take a day or two to update?

    What's the difference between police clearance and police certificate?

      NVC will only except a NBI(National Bureau of Statistics)certificate. The police cerificate is only local...You need the federal(national)..just had my wife get one a few weeks ago..

    my approval takes 1 minute because my papers in NVC are all there and never it lost.. Let your husband arranged it well when they are sending papers to NVC! for your assurance, as in super quick is mine!
