    Yes, heard from the embassy yesterday and got an interview for this coming Monday! Excited and terrified!

    How is everything going? Any word back after you've sent in the things for the RFE?

    Our case is already through NVC and on it's way to Malawi as of the 16th. Waiting time for interviews in Lilongwe is less than one month - this is all happening FAST now!! :)

      Yeah, I did...and just ended up with the answer that we were stuck in background checks for up to another 6 months. I had pretty much given up hope, but was pleasantly surprised when I got the email that we approved a month later.

    6 months of waiting for NOA2, but on my way to the airport in a couple of hours to go back to Malawi again to see my sweetheart!!

    Will this waiting ever come to an end? 5 1/2 months and counting, stuck in background checks. The only thing that makes me happy is knowing I'll see my sweetie in only 10 more days...

    Greetings, I think you are the only other VJ member who is going through Malawi right now. I am waiting for an I129F NOA2 for my Malawian fiance. Have your ad your interview in Malawi yet? Please let me know your experience with the Embassy if you are willing to share,
