    I agree.

    I had to wait 5 1/2 years, so the waiting has come down a little bit. I adjusted in country under the 245i. My USC mom filed for me, I was also in the 1st preference. She filed for me in Oct, 1999, and I had my interview in January 2005. In July of this year I had my oath ceremony and became a USC. time flys.

    sometimes they don't even know what they're talking about. unless you haven't had your i130 approved. has the 130 been approved? if not the i130 can go fast, but then USCIS sends the i130 to NVC, where it will be filed until your priority date becomes current.

    check the visa bulletin for november, for next month, the first prefence for unmarried children over 21 of a USC is on February 15, 2006, your priority date is or will be in 2010, so as you can see, for the time being it takse more than 4 years.

    thank you so much hon...yes it has been approved and yes my priority date is 2010 so i guess i have to wait......so frustrating :angry:

    iam being soooooo impatient rite now cuz every time i hear something different.ok my mother called the 603 number just find out how things are going and they told her my file is been processed and she is not to worry it wont take long..yet still i heard it took 4yrs......she is a citizen and my filling started march2010 i got a letter stating there is no visa number available.....do i really have to wait the next 4yrs?????? :crying: another thing they told her the letter i get iam not to worry cuz at the time they didnt recieve her citizenship papers.. they now recieve it and teold her all is now well..iam 27 and not married do i still have to wait 4yrs??

    thanks alot iam indeed sadden by the wait period, but as u said iam not from mexico so i shud be happy. :(

    hey every one i just want to know if something...ok my mother a us citizen is filling for me, my sister and my son i recieved a letter that there is no visa number available the letter came in my name but my sister have not recieved a letter and we live at the same address is it possible she is getting through and i have to wait??? my mother sent all the information together.iam so confused because she is older than i am and none of us is married. plz help. thanks :help:

    your not rejected, you just have to wait in line until a visa is available. you now have to check every month the visa bulletin.

    is your mother a resident or us citizen? where do you live and what country are you from? how old are you, married or not? it will depend on the information to know how long you have to wait.

    thank you so much. ok my mother is a citizens and iam not married, iam 27 yrs old. i live in jamaica. she is filling for me, my son and my sister. my son is 11 and my sister is 32. we are all living in jamaica, she lives in new york.also please explain how i check the visa bulletin i went on it but dont understand what to look for or where to look or which dates to look for. please help thanku

    hello everyone iam new here and just seeking some help about f2b case. my mother send in my papaers on march 2010. i got a letter august 27 stating that visa numbers are not available for my use. at the bottom of the letter has my case number and all. what does this means??? iam i rejected it also said i will be notify when further consideration can be given to process my application. plz iam worried could someone explain what is going on and how long would it take to get a visa number. thanks :help:

    I also need to know just how far along my process is, my mom told me to send her copies of my passport and birth certificate. She started the process around the last part of December. My mom is very secretive as she does not want us to get too anxious, so I really do not have a clue about this whole process. Are you guys aware of a time line I can look at to judge how far this process has reached. :unsure:
