Hello my VJ Family,

Just wanted to touch bases with everyone to share what is going on with me and Marivic. First I have sent all of our paperwork to NVC back in October. Spent about $600.00 to priority overnight our IV package to NVC with FEDEX. (Word to the Wise, Don't try to send a package after 9pm by FEDEX to arrive next day. IT WILL COST YOU!!!!! LOL!)

So last week I get an email from NVC stating that they are missing documents such as Marivic's police clearance from Hong Kong and Taiwan. Duh! CAN'T DO THAT UNTIL A LETTER IS GIVEN TO US FROM THEM SO SHE CAN GET THEM DONE!

Sometimes I think that the NVC truly has their head up their butts.

Then to top it off, I call NVC today and they tell me that my payment for the IV bill was rejected and now I have to pay another $404.00. WOW I KNOW THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS MONEY, BUT REALLY IS IT THAT BAD!!!!!!

So now I am going to have to send them our payment via that mail. I guess another long wait for nothing. But the good news is that Marivic was able to get her Police Clearance done with Hong Kong.

But that raises a new issue. Hong Kong Police only sends the Clearance to the US Embassy in Hong Kong and not to the person requesting it. So when I told that to the NVC, this guy (LOGAN) whom which I should say was very rude, told me that I need to write a letter and submitt it to the NVC requesting a exemption and state that we would provide the Clearance at the interview. OMG!!!!!! Maybe he needs to read the State Departments web site for Immigrant visa processing in Hong Kong

Just an update on our status. IV bill was paid yesterday and sent off the IV packet today overnight mail. Now that real wait begins for NVC. Hope everyone is doing well in their journey. Keep you updated if anything changes.

Just wanted to check in with everyone and let you know that we are still around. Had to put things on hold for about a month because of my school. Sending off my wife's IV Fee payment on Thursday. So we can finish this process by January. Hope everyone is having no issues with NVC. Will update more later as we hear back from on the process with the NVC.

Okay I think I made a Stupid RFE mistake. Let me get everyones input on this. I sent out the AOS packet yesterday, but I didnt paperclip or staple the documents together. Did any of you that sent your AOS packet send them in loose leaf or coupled together with a paperclip.

AOS packet is separate than IV packet, Anthony.

Loto, I know that. My question was do I need to make a copy of the whole AOS packet like I would with the IV packet.

AOS question. Do I have to send a copy of the AOS packet or just the original I864 with all of my copies of tax and wage information?

Do you need to submit a copy of the AOS packet like you would the IV packet? Or do you just send the original packet and your copies of tax returns, W2's, pay stubs and original letter of employment.

BTW, has anyone tried using the AOS-EZ (I-864EZ)?

I am going to use it. I have it filled out already, I will be sending it off as soon as I get the confirmation of payment.

We just received our Invoice Number and AOS bill today. Already paid it. Now waiting for the IV bill so I can pay that. Then I can finally send this box of paperwork that I have saved up here in my house

Hey so what is the average time from emailing the 3032 before they send you the AOS bill?

but anyways...when i was on the phone with NVC rep the other day, they asked me for the boss's (wife ) email address because she said they didn't have one on file for her. i told her that for the purpose of the petition, we'll be using the email address that's already on file. she didn't respond to my statement...so my question is, does a separate email address need to be on file with them? or one for both will do?

I am pretty sure she will need an email address. Just because if she doesnt have an email address, they will just mail everything to her. And consider the fact that we are talking about a government office. They never do things the easy way. So in my opinion, I would set up a new email account for her and give them that email address.

Have her email it now Tony. Make sure she references your NVC Case number. Are you going to attach the form or email the VJ Template?

We are going to use the VJ template. why is it better scan the document and send it?

Hey I was curious, does my wife need to wait for the NVC to update before she sends the email for the DS 3032 or can she send it now. we only got the case number 2 days ago.

Just to let everyone else know, I started a September NVC thread. I still have not received my NVC case number yet, so I decided to start a thread for Septmeber. I could have swore that someone had already started one, but I couldnt find it.

Well anyways, I will still stop by time after time to see how everyone is doing and to give Teya and TomD a hard time
