It has been awhile since I have been here-but yes AOS must go on. Darn wish the happy married life was all there was to this.

So annoyed at people who don't understand stuff at their jobs, trying to get the social security card, they say he has to have a work authorization card...and lots of other stuff no one else seems to mention, ugh! Help God we need to get on with the AOS!

Yes I filed in May, did you call the number provided on your NOA1? It seems a long time not to get any information? We have been approved and he is on his way here, and that's from Nigeria-one of the toughest countries world wide! I would call-I called all of the numbers various times-they are human and screw things up-really screw things up. I'd talk to them if I were you.

Just talked to my Fiance Nd, he's off to the Embassy for the interview. We prayed, we have done all we can, he is well prepared-as much as he can, now we'll see what the Embassy does, but we are putting our faith in God.

1 week Left! We have done everything we can to prepare, I totally front loaded the application, he has every form of evidence possible, we love each other and know each other well, Just praying for Convidence for my honey and a happy CO on the other side-knowing the Lord will be with us!

Less than two weeks until my fiance's interview-nervous and praying a lot. Praying he will not be as nervous as I am, and we will get one of the nice COs who will then say-"Welcome to America"

19 days to go until Ndubuisi has his interview, we are praying that they will just see our true love from all our efforts and make it an easy interview. Ndubuisi has packed up his whole apartment and right now is driving in a truck to his parents. Now the organizing, packing, and of course practicing for the interview!

Good luck with everything! My fiance just went to his interview and we prayed alot. The interview was not hard, 7 questions and because I summit in USA all the paper work (ex. all forms, email, phone calls bills, photos, airplane ticket bording pass etc) they not even asked him for documents. Next day Oct 29, he went to pick up his visa and we will be together this coming week. 37 days more days to go until Ndubuisi has his interview, we pray that God will be with us, and the CO so that that person can let our love Bloom and finally be together for good! The NVC never sent me their official letter after requesting it 4 times-hope he will be okay without it???

We are just praying for everything to go well as we count down the days until Nov. 19th when he has his interview. The NVC never sent a notice-not even after they said they would twice-I hope this doesn't become a problem. We are practicing interview questions-I just wish he would just be confident-he knows the truth, that's all he has to say-but he thinks the questions are "trick questions", but we are real and in love and that's what I pray the person behind the counter ...

I read your consular review-congrats! Could you give some guidance please. Everything my fiance in Nigeria has gotten has been through email-and most often in returned emails-asking for information. So his letter stating when his interview is (Nov. 19th) is just an email-not a formal letter. Just wondering if you guys received stuff through the mail or if emails count as the real thing?

My sweetie has his interview date for Nov. 19th, he has done all the tests and such on his end. Called NVC they keep telling me to wait for my notice from them-it has been over two months. Mostly trying to get prepared for the interview for him-never know what to expect-wish I had an extra $2000 handy to fly out and time off, but I don't. Now trying to figure out how to get his stuff here-thinking maybe 8 suitcases to start his life here? Any tips for that would be helpful!

I was wondering if you had any advice on how to get belongings (we are guessing six suit cases) from Nigeria to America-each bag can now only weigh 23 kilos, and each additional bag is $180, is this the best way to go? Any advice?
