From the date he received the NVc letter,just give a month allowance to schedule a date for your interview, then if you already have your email confirmation of scheduled interview date,,and your planning to have your medical..you can just present with your email confirmation the NVC letter(which contains your MNL Case#) even if you still didn't receive any letter from the Us Embassy..
