If I were you I would schedule infopasses every month, I wouldn't wait 6 months. Don't let the dust cover your file!

Yeah thats what I would do to make an infopass after a month and probably write a letter again or contact our congressman. How would I know if my case is out of the processing time frame? Our interview was May 2010.

What was ur initial reason for writing the officer again? Because you didnt hear anything from them after u sent it in? I cant believe they actually responded to you. how long ago was ur interview?

I wrote a letter to follow-up my case since it has been a month since we had our interview and sent the RFE and until now we haven't heard anything from them. So they responded to me telling that my case is actively processing but needs additional review. I don't know what do they need to do for that "Additional review" since I already sent in the RFE. I am planning to make an infopass again after a month if nothing happens.

Not he just gave us a request for evidence form for some affidavits and promise to send us an approval letter once sent. We also did the confirm delivery thing. But talk awhile to send the affidavits in becuz we were waiting for one from my family back home....but we did send it with in the time frame. I think it take them awhile to start back on a case when more evidence is requested due to all the new cases...so im not really worried. keep me posted on how it goes for u. Im so sick of checkin my mail box everyday

Since I wrote a letter to the IO who interviewed us. Today, I got a respond from a different officer telling that my case is actively processing however they need additional review. It says in the letter that I have to call them or make an infopass if I dont hear anything from them after 6 months. Hopefully, we get an approval before 6 months.

hey luckygoat we had the same case. we had an interview last month and after the interview the officer gave us the paper ( Continuance for I-485) want us to send more pictures so we did send it after 3 days and until now we haven't heard any news. Yesterday we did an Infopass and the lady said our file is still unreviewed and we have to wait between 30-60 days again. She dont even know if they got all the pictures that we sent in. So what we did we wrote a letter to the officer who interviewed us and follow up our case, we also attached in the letter the proof of delivery from USPS.

Did the officer gave you the letter that says "Continuance"?

Hey I have the same experience. I have to send in additional information. But I think that it is going to the same officer because the address has attention officer smith on it. What documents did they ask for?

The IO wants us to send additional copy of pictures. Its been a week now since I sent the pictures but there's no touches yet on my file every time I check it online. I dont know how long would it take to adjudicate regarding additional document. Did u send yours already and did you get any update yet or touches on your case?

During the interview the IO asking additional documents to send in before giving the decision. The IO gave me a paper what documents that I need to submit with due date to continue my AOS processing.

I already sent what the IO was asking.

Questions:

1. How long would it take to process it?

2. Will the same officer will handle my case regarding the additional document required?

We had stroke interview 2 months ago for my adjustment based on my marriage to us cetizen husband and just this morning a homeland security came to my husband work and ask him about our marriage the immigration field afficer is telling him the our marriage is a fraud and asked him to confess that we have sham marriage if not we will face serious legal consequences. Is it normal for the USCIS to do that? What's going to happen with us now we are freakin out now, swear to god our marriage is bonified and very real.

Is that the usual process? its depressing help.

Did you submitted all the proof of bonafide marriage? How long uve been married?

out of many questions she asked the 3 questions that we think we didnt match are:

1. What day is the garbage collection- she answered Tuesday and I answered I cant remember what day because I'm not the one putting the garbage outside.

2. Do u have alarm at home?- she answered YES and I answered I dont know.I dont know how it works. Im not sure coz we're not the owner of the house.

3. How's ur mailbox look like, does it have keys? she answered mailbox with lock and I answered just a regular mailbox on the wall.

After she asked me she didnt say anything except that I have to wait for the letter to print out and handed to me. The letter was asking me to send copy of pictures since we were dating 2 years ago.

By the way, during application process we send in:

2.Income Tax return for 2009

4.Telephone bill on our names

5.Cellphone bill on our names

6.Health insurance

7.Life insurance

8.Costco membership

9.12 pcs of photos

During our interview she asked the latest bank statements and credit cards statements and she took it.

Me and my wife just had an interview this morning. (initial interview)

The IO called me on time and went to her office. She reviewed all the forms and evidences we submitted. We had BUNCH of evidences in our file. After checking all the forms. She asked me when did we meet and how, How did we get married and how long we've been together. I answered everything. Then after, she asked if we have more documents. She asked if I have the recent bank accounts statements and I gave her, our recent joint credit cards statements. Then she looked at my original birth certificate and marriage certificate and compared to the one we submitted. Then she looked at our photo album. We only had 65 photos in our album. After checking everything she asked me to go out in the room and wait for 10 to 15 mins because she would ask some basic questions for my wife. I was confident during the interview not until she told me to go out. Ive waited for like 15 mins and then she called me then my wife came out. She asked alot of questions from how many bedrooms we have, how did we meet, what color is our curtain in the room etc. After I answered everything she returned all our ID's and took my I-94 and told me that she will review my file then she printed a paper asking me to send copy of pictures since we were dating. Then she walked me out in the room and she didnt say if we passed or failed in the interview. Then when I talked to my wife there are 3 questions that our answers didnt match.((

QUESTIONS:

1. do the officer will tell u if u passed or failed in stoke interview? I thought stoke interview only happens if u failed in the initial interview? is there a passing grade or score in the stoke interview?

2. When I asked her why she tooked my I-94, she just told me she will keep it since I am overstay my visa. Is it really like that?

3. She returned my EAD. I thought they will get EAD after interview?

4. Im wondering why 65 photos are not enough, she told me to send pictures since we were dating. What if we dont have enough pictures 2 years ago?

5. After we send those pictures, what do u think is our chances?
