I just wanted to congratulate LOTO for getting his NOA2..I normally just congratulate people in the forums..but he's helped soo many of us with our questions, above and beyond..I think it'd be appropriate to just create a special thread just to say Thank You Loto for what you have done so far and how you'll be helping everyone else in the future.

I arrived on Aug 07, 2010 and no GC, Just received the Welcome letter last week.

don't worry u will get ur GC soon...

(i got two welcome letters just before getting GC)

Dumb question but you need a GC before applying for a drivers license, correct?

I showed ma "passport GC Stamp" and "SSC" in DVM for license in Texas...

SSC in 11 days from POE

DL in 13 days from POE

GC in 20 days from POE

I received ma interview letter in the E-MAIL,(sheduled for Aug 12 at chennai US Emb)from NVC .

Ma questions are

1 , Do i receive another (or Original) interview appiontment latter from either NVC or from the chennai US Emb in post (MAIL)?

2 , if NO can i take the print out of the one in the e-mail and go to VFS(fees) and alos to interview?

3 , If YES how much time it will take to get this interview appiontment latter by post (MAIL)? (got e-mail on july 15th)

a , form NVC or chennai USEmb.?

This is a standard letter - the keycodes match up, all.

Are you having a problem understanding the keycodes ?

Everything you sent to NVC travels with the casefile, over to India.

Have you shown this to your USC Spouse ?

IMO, there is nothing to help you, about.

Sir i send original birth certificate(so it must say "O" instad of saying "D"(,where "D" s for certified copies) in the document status....same case for marriage and police certificats..

i want to know why they said "D" instad of saying "O",coz i send them the originals

the document status says nvc received certified copies of BIRTH ,MARRIAGE and PASSPORT POLICE CERTIFICATEs also ,INDIA POLICE CERTIFICATE is not needed for the application..

then where is my original certificates?. i am so confused and sad..tat i must take the originals to the interview...

hi guys,

does anyone know when can they (Embassy) schedule my interview? my case at the NVC just got closed last June 30 and until now i still haven't got an email regarding the interview...

also, are they gonna email the interview appt or send it at home? if email, who are they gonna email it to? the beneficiary, petitioner?

pls give ur insights on this. thank u all!

for me case completed on 28.. till now no info...i also want to know when they(nvc) will send me int app leter..either by email or by mail ?

For 2007 n 2008 ma wife filed her tax combined with her dad n mom..

for 2009 she filed separate.

Now she only have ,for 2009 returns papers 1040 ,1040a,2106ez and w2

2008 returns papers 1040 and 1040ez and w2

2007 returns papers 1040 and 1040ez and w2

Do we need any other tax papers?

Or we can send only this papers?

ma wifes 1ncome from tx return 2009-33600,2008-13800,2007-13800. when

considering the 2009/2010 HHS Poverty Guidelines 2009 is egough.

but 2008 n 2007 are just above the 125 % Percent

of Poverty

She can sponsor me or i need a joint sponsor ?

* Select "No" for "Add check digit"

* Select "No" for "Add check digit to text"

* Select "YES" for "Show text below barcode."

* Change the "X dimension" (bar width) to 0.05

* Change the "Barcode bar height" to 0.5.

* Click on "Create Barcode."

Print out the result from the resulting pop-up window, cut out the barcode and case number below it, and paste it in the horizontal box on the DS-3032.

next NVC will ask for IV bill n after paying it i (Here i am de BENEFICERY) will get de DS-230

(NVC will mail it to india)? n i have to fill it , sign part 1 and send it back,right ?
