    Very "impatiently" waiting for our visa to arrive via DHL...consulate says it still hasnt left their building yet....really? after 2 and a half weeks. Whats the hold up?

    Hallelujah!! Got my interview date today . . . after 17 weeks of waiting . . . October 28th is my date!!!

      Thanks so much for your kind words to me on the forums yesterday! And congrats. We have the same interview date (if mine's for real...as you know, I rescheduled through the new system, so I'm still slightly doubtful/ apprehensive). I hope to see you there!!!!

      My date is Oct. 8th as well. I'm sooo upset, because I'm supposed to be giving birth in VANCOUVER on or around Oct. 3rd! How can I fly all that way on Oct. 7?? And my poor baby!! I wish I could just give you my date, Jadenjewel. :( I can't believe the Montreal people are so heartless; they KNOW when my due date is!

      Maybe after Labour Day they'll wake up? Of course, I don't really know what's going on...but summer seems to have been extra bad. My timeline is similar to yours...Good luck!

      Have you tried your congressman/ woman yet? I did, and got basically a big shrug of the shoulders from her aide. NOBODY cares. That's the harsh reality.

    It's been over 10 weeks now... still no interview date from Montreal Consulate... I think so far I have longest wait on VJ history for CR-1 Montreal interview... I miss my baby :(

      Hi. Nice to "meet" you. Do you really think that we have the longest wait in VJ history for a CR-1 Mtl interview? It's definitely bad...And I'm definitely grumpy about it. I'll be sure to let everyone know if/ when I hear anything. Good luck...
