Fingerprint rejected twice after approval & welcome letter, case reopened in Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from K1 and K3 Family Based Visas Posted May 4, 2010 Hi, I got my case re-opened/reconsidered after approval because my fingerprint got rejected twice. I finished interview for AOJ from K-1 visa in March, everything went well, and I got approval letter and welcome letter.....(it says "we will soon mail you a new permanent resident card"!!) but a week after that, I got weird letters!!! I sent them my police clearance letter right away, but I hear nothing from Immigration office anymore!!! I wonder how much more time it takes..... in the bottom of the letter it says "after submitting your docments, you may inquire about your case no sooner than 180days" ...does it take more than 180days? should I hire a lawyer? If anyone experienced this, please help me.... any information would be appreciated. Thank you.
