Hiya! I started work the week after my EAD came through - I was lucky in that the company I worked for in Vancouver had connections in Seattle. My Greencard came the week after I started work. Things are going really well. Booked our UK wedding for July and we have just booked our flights to the UK, Thailand and Australia - our long awaited honeymoon! How are things for you?

Fantastic!! Our honeymoon (or weeks following wedding, anyway) consisted of visiting in-laws in Detroit and then flying with them back to Seattle for Christmas. Our second wedding in England this summer should be followed by a honeymoon in Thailand.

Sorry to hear about Graham's London snow issues I'm sure they'll clear the snow soon and he'll be in the PNW soon! Let me know if you need any tips on London hotels. Graham is probably best to grab a Travelodge away from the sirport in Wembley as they're cheap there. Fingers and toes crossed for you!

I don't see why you would have to pay tax on that. He paid taxes on it in England and you haven't seen any of it. I'll ask my fiance if she paid any tax on the earnings she made in London last year before we moved back. Tip: Tell your man to wait at least two weeks before going to get his SSN. Somewhere there's a link between the Social Security and USCIS. The Social used my fince visa number to find me and issue my SSN. It takes a few weeks for the two to communicate. ...
