I've heard that you should go to the interview even if you're unprepared, then get all your docs together later? We most definitely don't have our forms together!!!!

you know what, since my stuff was at cali rather than VSC, I bet it just got to lima faster -- didn't have to circle through the Panama Canal. but i don't think we'll get the process completed any faster, at the rate we're going!!!

I know someone who recently had the same situation with Lima and they emailed the embassy and asked for a later date....they were given two weeks, which was not enough time, so they gave it another 2 weeks. You can go for the interview...but they you will need to go back and give the docs then wait for the visa.
