  1. I forgot to mention that if approved, he'll need his police/court cert with english translations, too.

  2. Marriage transaltion will expire in their eyes, most shots expire in six months/physical. You will need a new I-134

  3. spousal visas don't expire persa

  4. Our case was reaffirmed in November 2011, interview was 01/25/12. He had to get his physical and some shots again, new birth, marriage cert with translation, photos, and new I-134 again all pages even instruction pages. He was give a IR-1 status after a fight. Casa is very difficult. You need to be prepared. I know others that we denied after their case reaffirmed. Good luck!

  5. Your lawyer is wrong!

  6. I wish that it was that easy, but it is not. reaffirmation does not guarantee a visa just a chance for another interview.

  7. The case will pass thru the NVC and casa will call your husband for an interview date. Any expired documents from your spouse needs done again. Physical/shots may need to be done again. Prepare for another difficult interview. Good luck.

  8. I am happy to hear it, but expect a transition period. Things re so different for your husband. It was very hard for my husband at first.

  9. Keep in touch. How are you?

  10. Hello! I am so happy for you two.

  11. We finally received his green card but with the wrong status(CR1)so now I emailed my senators office to have it corrected. We proved to homeland security that we are elgible for IR status and they admitted that the consulate made an error and promised to correct it. Needless to say it was not corrected. I am beyond frustrated with USCIS- Texas Service Center. I am happy with my husband. thank you
