  1. Good Afternoon-

(we are not experts and remember to do your research, this is only our opinion and we can not be held responsible for our advice)

Here is what we did step by step. Remember every situation is different.

We made extra copies and extra signed blank originals and double of originals if needed.

Links you need to follow for information

www.uscis.gov (register, see fees and forms needed)

ALL INFORMATION ACCURATE AND TRUE!! MAKE SURE ALL INFORMATION IS ACCURATE and TRIPLE CHECKED. DO NOT USE ANY SPANISH CHARACTERS

if a section is not applicable/None make sure to complete as instructed do not leave blanks.

1- Decide where you will file 129F- we sent ours to Vermont processing center (atten: I-129F 75 Lower Welden St. St. Albans, VT 05479-0001

2-get CERTIFIED copies of all birth certificates and divorce papers (if applicable)takes time if you don't have them (anything not in ENGLISH needs to be translated by a certified translator)

3-Complete cover letter with the following information:

Enclosed please find the form 129F, Petition for K-1 Fiance'(e) for __________________

    and supporting documents as follows:

    Application fee-$455

    Form 129F

    Evidence of my US citizenship

    Beneficiary translated Birth Certificate

Beneficiary translated Medical records (we sent this since as he had just been to the states)

Beneficiary translated Police records (we got a local one but needed to actually get a police certificate from MINISTERIO DE JUSTICIA Y DERECHOS HUMANOS DIRECCION DE REINCIDENCIA CORDOBA )

Form G325-A and 4 visa/passport size photographs of Petitioner(US person)

Form G325-A and 4 visa/passport size photographs of Beneficiary (Foreign person)

Form FC-029 (which is this cover letter.. you can get examples online)

Proof of having met in person within last 2 years (if you haven't seen each other in awhile US person needs to go on vacation and spend time with you!)

Letters of intent to marry, petitioner and beneficiary (BOTH must complete letter, examples online)

Form-I-134 (we included but not required- sent paystubs, house value, life insurance values, anything with value as you need to be above 25,000 or you need a co-sponsor. Mark box 11 INTEND and put all expenses as needed we forgot to send tax returns so I would send with this 2 years of tax returns too)

Some other things you will need and can include if you want or just wait for embassy to send you instructions as each Embassy has different checklists (GO TO THEIR WEBSITE AND RESEARCH)-DS230 ORIGINAL part one-DS156 (2 copies/two orignals for you) DS156K (1 copy-one original for you)-DS157 (2 copies-two originals for you), Military records(if applicable translated)copy of each passport (beneficiary)

I hope this helps: what this should all look like in the end is each person has originals and copies incase of emergency.

One set with two blank orignals signed, two complete sets of completed originals and two copies of all for Petitioner

One set of the copies with some originals will need to go to USCIS. (this way you have extras if needed- a pain but WORTH IT)

Second set with two blank orignals signed, two complete sets of completed originals and two copies of all for Beneficiary

One set of the copies with some originals with more relationship evidence and original DS230 part one and all stuff on checklist for Embassy when you get notice to send- We went to doctor required prior to sending package and included copy of SEALED envelope with the package. We sent all things UPS as FEDEX SUCKS!

    BEST OF LUCK!!

PS make sure all forms are correct dates and the forms expire......
