hey everyone

i was checking the paper they gave me with medical exam results, to show at POE, other than the closed envelope i give to the embassy at interview, anyway i had the medical on January, so from what i know, the medical expires after 6 months from the date it was conducted, but on the top right side of the paper i give at the POE, i noticed that it had expiration date of 31st of march.... how can that be? do i need to get a full new medical exam for POE? and also i read somewhere on visa journey that some people are asked for the X-ray at POE, do i need to get a new one too? since i think the embassy keeps it? Thanks for your help!

Man I am having a rough day. Does anyone get swept away with emotion? - frustration, upset, despair at times being away from their loved ones? I thought I was holding up well but recently I seem to be falling apart. This whole process is exhausting me and every day I ring in hope that our RFE has been entered and case closed. I am so tired of living a separate life from my husband and I know our time will come over the next few months but somedays (like today) I get so lonely and sad.

Please NVC, please hurry up and enter my RFE. I want my case complete before Xmas but I am losing hope....it is the only thing I want for Christmas this year (apart from actually seeing my husband which is impossible!!)

Malvika - got my fingers crossed for your SIF coming early next week - it is dragging on too long now.

I know what you're going through, i think everyone in the process does, i am tired of every time my husband leaves and we're both so upset, i go like hey it's just two months honey, just two months, then we'll be together and everything will be ok, and sometimes knowing you're just lying to yourself it's not two months, it hasn't been two months, you've been saying that for way too long to believe it! You just have to try and act strong and holding up and that you actually believe it's onlyyy two month, cause your other half is breaking down in tears, and you're holding them and crying silently so they wouldn't hear you cause you know just how they feel as you feel the same, but try and keep strong for your hubby, You can't both break down at the same time, Try and keep strong and have faith that you'll be together soon, and that it'll end someday, As you know from before our Anniversary is on early February, and i hope to God we are together by then, i don't wanna miss anymore of our lives together, i'm gonna miss his birthday this month, just hopefully not more! Goodluck to you and to everyone of us!

Update on mother: She's been transfered to rehab center last Friday. Today, she was able to take 30 steps with assistance and walker stick. Please continue to have her your du'a, prayers, and thoughts. My and my family's world has turned upside down without our completely well mother. Thanks everyone. I just want my mother back to normal soon.

I'm glad she's recovering Indigo, I'll keep having her in my du'a! insh'Allah she'll be back to normal so soon

Yes, if you have the checklist cover letter sent by NVC you don't neccessarily need to make yours own. Good to go. Do not forget to put NVC case # on top right corner of every pages of each documents (excep the bar coded sheet). Good Luck

Hey Everybody, i have a quick question:-

we finally got our email RFE checklist and i was wondering we just print it all and have the barcode sheet on top and then have our response(ds-230 part 1) attached and that's it, right?...no need to make our own checklist of what we're sending too since it already in the checklist letter anyway, right?

yep we did the same mistake, what is wrong is that they need when she turned 16 till whenever she lives now, so like if she's born in may and turned 16 on 2005 it'd be from 05-2005 till present!Goodluck!

RFE snail mail probably will show up in months time. Never go for that.

Email RFE checklist normally arrives in a week's time (less than 2 weeks is safe!). Check all folders including the spam folder of the petitioner and the beneficiary.

Guys. My mom is really ill. She had high blood pressure yesterday so we took her to ER. They gave some tests and one medicine and discharged her. But since today morning, her blood pressure went up and she has partial paralysis on her right side. She can barely move her right arm and her right leg. She can't walk on her own. So we took her to ER again today. We've been there since early morning. They'll keep her there for at least until tomorrow. I came home to eat something and use the bathroom. I'm going back now. Please keep my mom in your thoughts and prayers.

For latest address, never rely on the shortcuts. Use the one in the barcode cover sheet.

It is the same barcoded cover sheet that you used when you mailed IV package.

It is available in the NVC payment portal that you used to pay online.

Congrats i don't know about cheap websites to buy tickets but you might wanna search for last minute tickets it's so much cheaper, it's basically when the plane is already leaving with like 3 chairs empty, so instead of going empty they have an offer on these chairs, and their price is different than the rest of the plane's! I assured him everything is right, and he saw for himself,so he called again and they basically had a problem with the date i wrote, i should've written the date i turned 16, till present, not since when i lived there ....... i can't believe this, i'll try to mail my husband a new one tomorrow, hopefully we'd get out of NVC by the end of December :/

On a side note concerning the AVRS:

My case have been completed & I have already received my interview date BUT the AVRS still tells me "There is no record of your case #"

So I would NOT trust the AVRS.
