My boyfriend lives in America! I was detained by customs 3 hours, just checked my suitcase and said i came too many times! but they didnt put anything on my passeport or made me sign any papers!! And i dont have a visa tourist!!

I know it is not the same topic but i have something to ask too!! In october i was "arrested" by the customs for 3 hours because i went in america too many times!! It s been 8 months now since my last trip! I planned to go end of august just for 3 weeks of vacation!! I just want to know if it is a bad idea or if for 3 weeks it will be no problem?? thanks

I would like to know how long i have to wait before i can go again in America? I ask this question because the last time I went, in october, they gave a red sign and i spent 2 hours in the immigration office where they told me I came too many times to America without a visa!! So i would like to know if people in the same situation or have been in the same situation know the answer or know if I need a visitor visa to go back again! I was under the impression that I could visit for 6 months a year as long as I stayed in my country the other 6 months. Despite research i have done online... I have been unable to find a definite answer. How often can I visit and how long can I stay? I am asking this because I have a boyfriend in America. I am from France.

Here is how long I have stayed so far:

Aug 2009- 3 weeks

Dec 2009- 1 week

Feb 2010- 1 week

March thru June 2010 (stayed 3 months)

Oct thru Dec 2010 (stayed 3 months)

WHat i did start to last august 2009:

3weeks in august -3 months in france

1 week in december-1 month in france

1 week in february-1 month in france

almost 3 months in march(until june)- 3 months in france

and i leave in october for 2 months!! and when i return in france i have a job who wait for me!!!

I would like to know because i go to see my boyfriend in fews days in america, how many times i can go there? i know i can stay 3 months but it is not my question. i want to know how many times, i mean my first time in america was last august i stayed 3 weeks, in decembre a week, in february a week and in march three months! So now i'm in France for 3 months. I know i have to spend more time in France but after a whole year do they start to zero?
