    IV Case Number on Visa

    Just a quick question...

    How many digits should the IV Case Number on the actual visa be? My wife was checking her visa to make sure all the information was correct and she noticed that the IV Case Number is two digits longer than in all the other paper work. The Case Numbers are identical except that the number on her visa has two additional digits at the end.

    Before it was:

    TKY2010****** (3 letters, 10 digits)

    Now it is:

    TKY2010******01 (3 letters, 12 digits)

    Should we be worried, or is this normal?

    G-325 - Spouse's Father's City of birth no longer exists

    I have a question regarding what I should put for my spouse's father's place of birth (City, Country) on the G-325 form.

    My Japanese spouse's father was born in a village called Hongo in Japan. So, we know where he was born. However, for some reason or another, the name of the village changed to Niimi City AFTER his birth. So, should I put the name of the city when he was born (Hongo) or the current name of the city (Niimi)? Or, I could just put Unknown City, Japan.

    Any help appreciated.
