I see people taking loads and loads of paperwork (100+), but I don't really see it is worth it ... we have about 20 - 25 pictures and some e-mails. Argh, can't wait for this to be over!

Does this amount sound right to you? Do you know any other travel agents? Any way to convince Passport Office to process quicker?

Well, we were able to get the passport (under "Tatkaal"). The Passport office is saying 30 days for PCC (but our interview is 6/14). Also, we called the travel agent you suggested -- and they are saying they are very busy. PCC will take 15 days and cost Rs. 2700. They asked who refered us.

OMG! That is WAY more than us -- you are making me nervous! I have the usual tickets, boarding passes, phone records. For the e-mails / chat logs, I just went to GMail and searched "to: (fiance's name)", and took a screen capture of the search results. Plus, I am thinking about only taking 20 - 25 pictures. You're making me double-think now ... hehe ...

Thanks! No, only my fiance will attend the interview. My tourist visa to India coincidentally expires June 14th, and, with the current tourist visa rules, I doubt they will renew for me to be able to go. I will load him with tons and tons of proof, though, and pray for the best!
