also i read a few things about should i apply for a n600 or a passport??

Hi everyone since i always get answers from all of you here i am again...

this time is for a friend of mine, his been married for 4 years to a us citizen and had his permanent resident card for 3

his only issue is that when it came time for him to get his 10 year permanent card they instead issued him a extenssion letter

and he never received the card, so the question is may he apply for his citizenship because technically he meets the criteria of having a green card for 3 years??

checked online his employment authorization is being issued as of aug 17th thank god

Hey guys i got an RFE a couple of days asking for my wifes tax papers and my sponsors even though i sent it in already i am thinking that the problem was my wifes

tax papers because she only had 08,07,06 she did not work in 2008 and 2009 is there a way to send a letter explaining this how what would it say ????????????

It's asking for:

1 - Your sponsor/joint sponsor's authorization to work in the US. If your sponsor/joint sponsor is an immigrant, they have to prove that they either (a) came in on a visa that authorizes them to work in the states or (b) that they obtained employment authorization afterward (for instance, through AOS).

If your sponsor/joint sponsor is a US Citizen, then send the birth certificate or passport - anything to prove citizenship, which entitles people to work automatically.

2 - the sponsor/joint sponsor's 2009 tax returns.

ETA: 3 - sponsor/joint sponsor's supporting tax documentation, i.e. 2009 w-2s or 1099s.

Who is the sponsor & what is their status? Do you have a joint sponsor?

yes i haave a joint sponsor because my wife who is the citizen is not employeed for the last year

also its funny because i sent so many documents i sent copies of his birth certificate

his passport his DL

Our RFE was for 2009 Tax information, we were expecting it but 2009 taxes hadn't been filed when we sent our stuff to USCIS.

Hey guys just looked online to check my case status and it says that they sent me a request for evidence i am so bummed

hey guys i sent in my packet

everything seemed to be going okay i got my biometrics app for the 1st of july

but i went on uscis.gov to check my case status and it says that on the 21st monday they sent me a request for evidence

i am sooo bummed this wouldnt be the biometrics right??

I mailed my I-485 out on may 29th, and was delivered and signed on June 1st.

However, I haven't heard anything yet.

I wonder how do people received text message and email?!

Hey Everyone just received my hard copy notices and receits i am sooo excited

Elysee hey welcome and what i did was i sent a form Along with my 1-130 and 1-485 which signs you up to receive notices thru email and txt

how long has it been since you sent your stuff?

I sent off the I-129F on June 3rd. By Delivery Confirmation, I know they received it yesterday. At what point should I register to receive text/email updates?

if i have a sponsor who earns over 114k A YEAR should i even send in my tax information i am uneployed and didnt even file for taxes this year

the household size is 4,i guess the poverty guide line is about $27,000,we have decided to use her house and net is far more than the 3 x the difference between household income and the poverty guideline income.Thanks very much

Instead of police report, I'd suggest go file for a new passport from his consulate, and attach the paperwork (i.e. receipt) with the application package. I'm fairly sure eventually he will need a passport to go through the whole process, but it doesn't hurt to send in the package first while waiting for the new passport.

before we started the whole process he did get a new passport from his consulate

I will also recommend to make a police report and include it with the submission..

A police report because he lost his passport??? i dont see how losing his passport has anything to do with the police
