  1. It has been more than 5 months and 3 weeks since i sent my I-130, since im doing this process with a lawyer i decided to have him call USCIS to find out what is going on with my case. mind you that i have not gotten a RFE not a single update what so ever. So today my lawyer e-mailed me saying that my I-130 has been approved on OCT 12, how weird is this? today is the 21st and status on the webpage stills the same. I have not yet received my NOA2 by mail nor any type of notice from USCIS. Should i have my wife call USCIS to find out whats going on since is the one petitioning me?

    Some advise will be helpful.

  2. Hey peeps without patience, NOA2 are talking 160+ days. So hold on to your horses if you're just crossed 145 days mark.

Set your expectation low, so you won't be disappointed ever. That's an advice good for rest of your life. You are can only be plesantly suprised if you're an eternal pessimist.

I like your quote "You can only be plesantly surprised if you are an eternal pessimist"

Been waiting for NOA2 since Aug. 26..

  3. I think as you have used a lawyer........a lawyer is representing your case with USCIS. so my guess is your lawyer must have received NOA 1. Just ask him once.

My lawyer told me that i should receive the original copy of notice and he will be receiving a copy. This is just odd, i think i will call Immigration offices within the next two days... Thank you...

  4. My wife and I met with my lawyer to finally file for spouse petition about six weeks ago, 355 fee was paid and all we had to do is wait for some type of notice. Well, it has been six weeks and we are still waiting... It is normal? Should I contact my lawyer?

I will appreciate some advice from anyone that went through this...

PS: Application sent to California Center according my lawyer...
