What Im saying I didnt know was that at some point she emailed the embassy back saying she wanted to reopen the case. Edouardo was unaware that she did this. It couldnt be reopened, because the original petition had expired. So anyway the embassy contacted the ex and she told them she never emailed to reopen the case. I did know, but she didnt show up for the interview and emailed the embassy saying she didnt want to continue with the process. They filed in 05 and the interview was in 08. After awhile they slowly fell apart because she wouldnt move to DR to be with him and if she closed the case then he couldnt go to US.

re-open the case. Before our interview, the embassy called her to ask her questions. She told them that she never sent the email to re-open the case and it must have been Edouardo. After our interview Edouardo has found many emails from her saying that she will do whatever it takes to make sure he cant file with me etc. And also emails stating when she contacted the embassy. I have never heard of this before. Why in the world would they contact his ex?

One thing we found out from the last consulate we spoke to, was that somebody filed on behalf of Edo in 2005 and she didnt come down to the interview. Yes, it was terrible. Really one of the worst experiences of our lives. I felt as if we were on trial for murder. I am so so sad

Yeah Edouardo thought he saw him, but wasnt sure. He is actually at consultorios now. He thought it would be a quick trip and be home by 9am, but its now 12 and hes still there. I was going to go with him, but he said i should rest after a long travel day. Now that hes been gone since about 6, Im missing him again!!!

My fiance called the Embassy today. They said the results prob wont be there by the time we interview but they will try to prioritize it. When we get our approval, they still have to wait to process the visa until after the results come in. Im thinking positively!!!! Yes, he is also picking his packet up on the 28th, then heading straight to Consultorios de Visa.

Yeah, we are in the same boat with our interview date 7 days earlier. Edouardo has to pick his up the same day and rush over to get the medical at 1pm. Plus, I fly in that night. They said they will process everything at the medical ASAP and send directly to embassy. We will see how that goes! lol. I will let you know how it goes for us.

Wow, I didnt know PAP had a backlog. Ours made it to DR. We will just wait to find out interview date. Yeah, I guess I should just be thankful for the fast approval and get ready for interview in DR. Maybe we can make a quick trip to Haiti to meet Edouardos family before we head home.

I wish they were inexpensive from Denver. The cheapest I've seen is 575.

My package was supposedly sent to DR on Feb 3rd. I have checked DHL website and have not seen anything sent to DR since before Jan 31st. Does your fiance live in Santo Domingo?

Im a lil nervous about SDO. I have been reading on dttusa website and its really intimidating. The interview accounts are pretty scary. We will just pray for the best. Should be 3 months of waiting now. I was really looking forward to seeing my honey's country as well.

Im a little disappointed. Our case was sent to Dominican Republic. The wait for interview is 3 months and they are a high fraud consulate. It has already been sent out. We are praying that DR sends it to Haiti.
