I just noticed that your interview was on my wedding anniversary! You told me that you had to go back for a second interview because you didn't have tax transcripts. Did you only obtain the tax transcripts for the most recent year or did you bring the last two years transcripts? People keep telling me I should send 2010 and 2009s? What did they ask you for?

I'm glad a birth certificate is all that your husband has to get! That'll be really easy to obtain and now at least you know for sure when he'll be joining you! This just isn't fun,is it?

That's ridiculous! NO one should have to update their birth certificate. I'm sorry for the delay, but I guess on a more positive note--he'll be with you for the holidays!

My family is celebrating Maame Tutuwaa's 1st birthday tomorrow! I can't believe my daughter is already one. I'm sad my husband can't be here for her celebration, but I'm so hopeful that he'll be here for Christmas. I can't think of anything else!!

Why can't immigration at least give me something..."he's 1,390 on the list", "he'll be interviewed in November"...something!! Why, God?

Nope! We've been waiting since September 2010. I have a feeling we won't get an interview until after summer. My daughter and I are going to visit my husband next month. We're going to stay until June. I keep praying that we'll get a letter before I leave. Don't interview letters come a few months before the interview date is scheduled? How are things with you?

I'm so curious!! How were you able to get an interview so soon after your case was completed at the NVC?? Any advice for me?

I met with my congresswoman in August to see if she could help expedite our case. Congresswoman Kilroy, along with my OBGYN, and myself all wrote letters to expedite my husband's interview date. One month later, I received a letter denying our request; they gave no reason. I gave birth without my husband physically there. Thank God for skype.
