Hi! I hope you don't mind messaging you but i have a question. My biometrics appt is scheduled for Dec 19th but my hubby & I will be gone on a cruise during that time. Was it difficult to change your bio appt and what did you do to change it? Thank you for any information you can pass along, very appreciated.

So the NVC has sent a request to Montreal to expedite. But, our case isn't complete at NVC. Any thoughts?

If you get approved from Montreal, the NVC will send everything they have in your file (so far) to Montreal and from then on out, everything will be done thru the consulate.
It's both a blessing AND a curse because at the NVC, you could call the operators there and get some answers if you were confused (or to check processing times). At the consulate there is no number to call nor are emails answered (at least, not very often) so you really can't check ANYTHING, it'll ...

No, you don't have to start over (least I didn't) - I just wanted to warn you in advance because I had to send in additional paperwork to Montreal, I did and it's been sitting there, at the consulate, for 66 days without ANYONE picking it up to review it. And we have an expedite based on my hubby's upcoming deployment.

If you are referring to Montreal, there is no number you can call, I had to submit additional documents after my interview was concluded, sent those in as soon as I got back home and today, it is 66 days later with no word from the consulate whatsoever. AND we have an approved expedite. Sucks, big time.

We got approved but there is one problem, the Israelis goverenment sent out paper work and the American consulate can not find it, so we are on stand by until the find the police letter from Israel.. very upset but what can I do.
