As a matter of fact my case looks like your case I received RFE last week, but the only thing wrong was to send the last six month of the bank account so I replied with 2 years of shard bank account and car insurance that proofs we been on same policy for 2 years.

Ps. I just got approved today, so just 7 days after I responded to the RFE

Hello! I'm searching in advance about what is needed for ROC , because I have some doubts about all the documents that must be sent along with the forms.

This is what we have so far:

- Copy of my State ID.

- Copy of DMV fee payment to take the written test.

- Copy of my instruction permit.

- Copies of letters mailed to my husband

- Copies of letters mailed to me

- Copies of letters sent to both of us.

- Copies of registration payments for English school , which show my name and address.

- Copies of receipts of parcels that my mom has sent to me.

- Copies of subpoenas sent to my husband and me( to testify as witnesses in a divorce case).

- Copy of jury duty summons mailed to me.

- Joint bank account statements.

- Federal taxes for 2011 and 2012 (filled jointly).

- Copies of checks (tax refunds)

- Same for State Taxes.

- Copy of receipt of my husband's car smog inspection, showing his address.

- Copy of letter from Social Security office, when I changed my name in my SS card.

- Copy of letter from Social Security office, mailed to my husband (because he requested a copy of his SS card).

- Photos together.

I can get from our landlord a copy of the rental agreement. I can also get affidavits from our landlord and the other tennant (we're renting a bedroom).

We have hotel receipts, but even though the room was for 2 people, they only state: "GUEST: 1".

I have Disneyland tickets, but they don´t show our names, we paid cash. I also have a photo of us riding on Space Mountain. Should I attach them too?

I have train tickets , of a trip to L.A ...but we paid cash, so our names aren´t on them. Should I attach them too?

My concerning is that my name is not on my husband's car insurance and his car registration; we don´t have a joint medical and dental insurance either. (As a matter of fact, I don´t have any insurance).

Do you think we have enough documents? We want to be on the safe side !

for the joint bank account make sure that you cover the longest time that you can. I received RFE because of that.

Our case was approved 10 days after we sent the RFE out.

Before the approval, we did a little research by checking out other cases with RFE requested and approved, looks like most get approved (assuming every thing is fine) less than a month.

What month did you apply for your ROC? are you VSC or CSC?

I received a request for evidence today, all the evidences that they are asking for I already sent it in the package. when I set the package I only sent 2011 tax return, joint car insurance, joint medical insurance, joint back account( checking and saving), joint lease (last 2 joint agreement), photos. my wife picture is printed on my mastercard.

ATTN. Do you think I received a RFE because I only sent one tax return, even though we filed for ROC in January and filed my tax in March. please help.

WE DON'T have joint bank account, no bills, no lease agreement (we live in mom's house - she wrote sublease letter).This month we are moving to a new house where will have lease, bills. First year we didn't have any financial papers just memberships,Tax, ID, paycheck showing the same address.If in june I will get RFE what should i do!??

Since I came to US I moved 2 times and didn't file any forms to change my address, even though I filed I-751 on january 14 and used the address that I live in now and I recieved the extended letter and the biometric letter and did my biometric as well , I remember in the I-751 there's a question asking about if I moved since I came to US and I marked yes and added my old contract and the current contract. Should I do anything about that DO I HAVE TO CALL USCIS or something

If you took any trips together, I would include that information as well. If you are including the BC, which is not needed, you might want to include the Marriage Certificate to prove that you two are married (also not needed). I am assuming that you have no children together so item #1 is N/A, you have items #2-4 and the affadavits are not that important. The whole I-751 package is a personal thing as not everybody has the same items to show co-mingling. To my mind taxes and financial risk goes a long way to show that the marriage is ligitmate as do everyday things like vacations together.

I would go with what you have.

It seems like there could be more? I don't know what per say. Are you adding photos, utility bills, a copy of your 401k showing each as the beneficiary?

Have you taken any vacations? Have children together? It just seems like a lot of it is financial without any other things added in there for the 'relationship' aspect. I could be way off the marker here and I know mingling of finances is a really good thing, but I can't help but think so is the personal aspects like vacations (staycations), photos at events, things that provide 'togetherness'. Again I could be wrong and if I am someone please correct me.

after i got the yellow packet there was a paper stabled on top of this packet they put my wife old address , while i'm giving the packet to the cop i asked her to change my address to the new address , and she did that for me

I got USA before 10 days while i'm in JFK i changed the address i saw the cop we the while she's changing the address . i'm pretty sure she wrote the address right , tell now i didn't get welcome letter or any thing , but before 3 days i went to register for SSN

Do i have to call some one now to ask ? or what should i do ?

alas - Petitioner change of address for a K-1 visa holder isn't troublesome at all - nothing is mailed out after POE. Repeat for Emphasis - Nothing is mailed out after POE, for a K-1 visa holder. Sure, there's another window to change the address when filing for AOS, but that's SO FAR down the road, and come on - not even the same visa type as the OP.

A CR-1/IR-1 visa holder , on the other hand - that's a really big dealio -

as the green card is sent to the address on file, after POE.

DURING POE, is opportunity to CHANGE the address on file, in real time, in front of a human.

I'm sorry, but to compare the two intake processes, K-1 vs CR-1, is really really damaging to the OP - it ain't the same beast, at all. I understand yer trying to be helpful, but yer giving out the wrong info based on a different visa type.
