Once your case completes @ NVC you can track your package to the consulate. It's for people (like me) who are into self-torture...

WE ARE REALLY LUCKY BECAUSE UNTIL 2008 THERE WAS A "WAITING LIST" THAT YOU RECEIVED A NUMBER WITH MINIMUN 6 DIGITS AND PEOPLE WAITED 2 YEARS FOR THEIR NUMBER TO CAME AVAILABLE FOR A CITA..SO 3 MONTHS IS NOTHING COMPARES TO WAIT FOR 2 YEARS

yes but our consulate is 3 month delayed so yours should be in July if you complete before april 16th

hmm, according to Sachi if you LIF/CC until the 9th you will for sure make it to May (I mean, it depends on how busy the Embassy is).

My bad - you only mentioned AOS, so I figured it hadn't been sent yet - no RFE letter/email?

Did you happen to send both in the same package? I've been told that can result in a false RFE.

As a matter of fact i sent them in different packages but the same day to avoid any mix up.

it is very common for them to process the AOS first. This is a false RFE, you'll see

well can't be because i sent both the AOS and IV the same day, and the AOS has already been accepted.

I just got of the phone with NVC and they are saying AOS was accepted but that they will be sending an email with other required docs. I have no idea what it might be as i could swear i sent everything in.

Probably too early. You just got a case complete yesterday...normally it takes a couple of days after that for them to send it.

Wanted to ask you.. how did you get them to expedite your interview???
