Thank you! I still live with my mother so I will add her as a household member and add her income.

Hello everyone,
I am filling out the I-864 for my spouse (I am a U.S. citizen). I recently got a temporary job that pays well over the poverty line but is only for one year. Can I just fill out the I-864 even though I only have this income (definitely) for one year? Or should I have my mother help me as a household member just in case?
Thank you!

Based on your previous comments this last statement is confusing... Are you the USC? If so what biometrics are being done? Did you file for a CR1?
Hi, sorry this is all very confusing to me. I am awaiting the approval of the I-130 (initial processing began on April 6th). So, I wanted to know if my husband and I do get accepted, will I be able to do whatever comes after the I-130 approval in Madrid, Spain?
On the forms I stated that my permanent address is in the U.S. so this is why I am concerned. Would I be able to change my address for the paperwork to Spain or can someone at my U.S. address (like my mother) fill it out for me?

Wait, are you going to Spain until your husband receives his immigrant visa or are you moving to Spain to live and work there?
If the latter, I'm afraid you're going to have to give up on the immigration visa for the husband as the permanent residence is for living and working (permanently) in the US.
When you're ready to come back to the States, file DCF in Spain.
Hi. I will be going to Spain until he gets his immigration visa. So, I will probably be there for the next 6 months. I am just curious if I will be able to do the biometrics and other paperwork through the U.S. embassy in Madrid. If so, do I just contact the embassy and that's it?

Hi guys,
I might have the opportunity to work and live in Spain (and be with my husband!) however I filed the I-130 here in the States. Does anyone know how that might work if I did decide to go to Spain? Would they allow me to do the rest of the visa stuff through the Embassy or not?
Hope you guys can help!

Hi Everyone!
I'm awaiting the NOA1 and check hasn't been cashed yet.

Thanks guys for the advice. Sorry for being so vague.
I recently got married in February. I am a US citizen and my husband is from Ecuador but has temporary residence in Spain. He currently is Ecuador and I am back in the States. I sent out the I-130 about a week ago. This whole process is a little confusing and I just wanted to get a feel for how long everything takes.
I read that the actual green card can take anywhere from 6 to 12 months. I just wanted to know if there is a quicker way for him to come while we await the conditional permanent residence. For example, by visa or whatever? Is it possible for him to come within 2 or 3 months on a visa?
I just want to know the quickest way for him to get here and start our lives together.
Thank you!

Hello everyone. I just sent out the I-130 and I'm waiting approval. My husband is from Ecuador but has residency in Spain. We would like to know what is the quickest way for him to come here. Is it worth the time/money getting a CR-1 visa or does it take just as long as the green card? Basically, what is the quickest way? I would really appreciate the help!
