  1. thanks so much mary...but how can I call them? I cant call from my cell phone..can i use a phone card?

I called from Mexico and I used a land line, you have to have activated the 900 number. they charge you for every minute like 9 USD and I guess that's why you can't call from your cell phone, try to call with the card. But to be honest with you, your fiance should called from Mexico.

    Saludos,

    Mary.

  2. hello,, do u know I can contact the Juarez consulate? the NVC said they sent out Fiance petition packet to the consulate on July 2nd and my fiance and i still havnt got anything. I have one number that says u need a credit card to make an appointment but its only for immigrant visas for other locations. Do u know?

    Hello,

I called them one time with the same question here is the information I used:

    Visa Information/Appointments

For information on how to make or change an appointment to apply for an immigrant (resident) visa or to provide information on your visa case, contact our Call Center at:

Within U.S.: 1-900-476-1212 (toll charges apply)

Within Mexico: 01-900-849-4949 (toll charges apply)

Just make sure you have your case number.

    Saludos,

    Mary.

  3. Diana, I don´t think there´s anything we can do to make the process faster, however, it seems like the packages sent in april, may and june are being processed very quick, and that makes me very hopefull...(see the timelines...do you have one?)

What do they want? a clean record, proof of the relationship...pretty much it!

As for documentation, there´s a pretty good load of information that you can find on this website....

Trust me, I know your pain...I wish I could be with my love as well, but since I can´t...I keep planing up our future...seing places we can travel...schools that I can enroll, jobs that I might be able to get...and alsoooo...there´s a long journey until the green card...

Good luck sweetheart...hopefully our pain won´t last too long!

Hello Rafaela, I have been doing exactly the same as you. Being away is very hard. Once you get the NOA2 you will be rolling down the hill. Wish you the best on your journey.

    Mary.

  4. Hey all,

We just recently turned in our packet 3 to C. Juarez and I am wondering if those that have already gone for the interview can tell me whether we need to get a "constancia de antecedentes no penales" or not?

I am confused because on the packet 3 information, Mexico is on the list of countries that don't need to get the letter, but I want to make sure...

Thanks to any that can respond to my question...

    Laurel

    Hi Laurel,

Sorry I don't have the answer. I have my interview next week and I got it just in case they ask for it.

    Saludos,

    Mary
