    i said housewife, its fine

he told me he just need to know it, not judge it (very nice)

he go throught my form page by page

he show me a paper, ask me read a sentence for him

    "where is the white house"

then he gave me a paper, asked me write down

"white house is in washington DC"

then he said "you passed the writing test"

he started to ask me civic test, i totally forgot what he asked, coz i was very very nerves...

but trust me, if you study enough these 100 qus, u'r fine, coz as i remember, its was very easy:)

thrn he said congratulations, i passed both test and recommend approve!

he printed me a approved paper and even asked me write down 2/13 fri and said that would be my oath ceremony date!

    2) interviwer very nice, took abt 25 mins to finished!

    3) my interview in san bernardino, ca

hope it help and wish you guys all the best, i know how that feel we need to wait wait wait and wait, thats y im sharing here, thank you!

  4. have USC SPOUSE (you are married to one, yes? ) call into NVC, explain about the missing police certificate.

This will speed up things a bit, if they KNOW IT's NOT COMING during NVC PROCESSING,

cause the Checklist letter to be issued SOONER.

What's up with yer USC Spouse?

my husband didn't call to NVC explain abt y we missing it,

coz my husband very busy for work and dnt even have to time to back home...

thats y my husband hiring a lawyer since we send out i-130, but when my case been in NVC, lawyer do nothing,

my husband received an e-mail from NVC asked for pay AOS & IV fee those 2 bills...

then my husband paid and NVC received...

but a lawyer still do nothing, just said we have to wait for NVC send us a mail...

after almost a month...we still receive nothing from NVC...

so i FORCE a lawyer to keep an eyes on my case...but still...

after that i even have to print out those two cover sheets and ready every doc and mail it to my husband,

when my husband received my mail, and give it to lawyer,

she just checked it if its correct and ask my husband to mail it back to NVC...(just only missing my polie check)

lawyer do nothing so...i just can check it by myself......

thats meant i should call tmr and tell them my police check missing, right?

  5. Usually E-Mail

but - have yer USC spouse check in with NVC, be certain about the police certificate - tell them impossible to get without checklist letter. That phone call is important - or NVC might hold up the processing.

i called to NVC...AVR said--->"The NVC received your documents on june 22. Please allow 6-8 weeks from this date for the NVC to review your documentation and notify you of the outcome of the review"

you meant i should call NVC talk to operator, tell them my DS230 without police check?

    im so worried...

  6. you will get a checklist letter about the police clearance - but

should only delay your case a bit, long enough for a

    checklist letter to be generated.

Will not stop NVC processing , only hold it up.

ONCE YOU HAVE THE CHECKLIST LETTER IN HAND -

take it to the office in HKG, they will issue one to you -

but may or may not ONLY be sent to US Embassy / HKG / Immigration Visa Unit.

Or it's given to you in sealed envelope, to hand over on interview day.

    Good Luck !

Thx Darnell, NVC will send me checklist by mail or e-mail???

  7. You simply don't understand the term pending. Of course the case is "pending" until it is complete. The case is pending receipt of the I-864 and a number of other documents. Whether you go ahead on your own is up to you but your lawyer is not wrong in stating he case is pending at NVC.

the "professional" lawyer told me our case "pending" "because of my husband paid AOS & IV fee "online", therefore he already mess up our case! and have to wait til NVC ask for the I-864" lawyer said this excuse half month ago, i sent her an e-mail told her whats NVC operator told me 2 days ago, then Lawyer ask me to print a cover sheet myself!!! my husband paid for more than 2 thousand dollars she dnt even print a cover sheet for us! wt......she needs a printer!!!

  8. My husband is US citizen, we paid for Lawyer to help us,

Lawyer suppose to help us send everything to USCIS & NVC

Following are the step what Lawyer did…

    1) Filed I-130 since Jan 2010

    2) USCIS approved on Mar 2010

    3) Case assigned @NVC on Apr 2010

On May 2010, my husband received AOS & IV fee bills, then he paid online, but the Lawyer said just because my husband paid online, now a case pending @NVC…I called to NVC and an operator said they didn’t pending our case at all, just waiting our i-864 AOS package…and NVC will not send any mail or e-mail to remind us…but the Lawyer keep saying we couldn’t send anything to NVC for now…if not…a case will be delay…that is stupid excuse to don’t do anything i never heard in my whole life!!!

I writing this notice here…just letting everyone know…don’t try to find a US Lawyer to help…they just need money!!! VJ is good enough!!!

And now I don’t really know what can I do…kinda sad :crying:
