Hey, I see you were planning on getting married in Las Vegas - is that still the plan? We just got married there on June 12 at Treasure Island and it was just perfect. You will have such a great time in Vegas if you go!

I had a 3 hour layover and made my connecting flight fine. If everything goes smoothly and they are not too busy then you should be ok. You collect your bags after you have finished with immigration. Houston was an easy POE for me and has lots of good reviews. Just make sure they give you your part of the I-94 (assuming people from Columbia should complete one). They forgot to give me mine.

The police certificate in the UK is good for a year. You don't have to wait to request it, in fact it is advisable to order in advance as it could take a few weeks to get to you.

Got the passport this morning at 7:45am!!! Flight booked for Wednesday

Try not to stress about the RFE. It's probably something simple. Ours was that they mistakenly thought my divorce certificate needed to be signed by a judge - something that isn't done in the UK!! Just send them what they ask for and they normally proceed on it pretty quickly. Our NOA2 followed very shortly. Keep us updated.
