Ok so i have read thru the instructions and had a look at the example form here. The minor is now a principle in part 2. correct?

But as a minor is she allowed to sign ?

Part 5 has me a little confused. Is her mom, now my wife listed in part 5 as my wife or as someone I have sponsored. ?

One other Q`s.. I am preparing all the docs... do I identify my self as such on the forms.

I have prepared all the forms up to now but this time is a little confusing. LOL

Did the K-2 travel within 6 months of the K-1? They were already listed on the I-864 for the mom? Why has it been 2 years?

She did not arrive within 6 months. her visa was good for 1 year . she arrived aprrox. 13 months later. 2 years because of funds. she was included in the original I864 for her mom when her mom filed for adjustment. If I need to submit a new I864 its not a big problem just more paperwork..

The DMV (CA) would only issue me a drivers licence if I had 60+days remaining on whatever document proved my legal presence. In my case it was my I-94 which didn't have 60days so they said come back when you have a suitable document with more than 60 days on it.....

Same for my wife. less than 60 days and they wont issue DL.. Need green card after that.

I am the sponsor of the K1 and the K2 was listed in sec. 9 of the I-864 but its been over 2 years. the K2 will be 15 next month and i am sending her I-485 next week. i did read this here in the instructions.

I-864 - Affidavit of Support: K-2's don't require their own separate I-864 with supporting documents (tax returns, etc). Make sure they are listed in section 9 of the K-1's I-864, and provide a photocopy of the K-1's I-864 with the K2's paperwork. You don't need to include copies of the supporting documents with the K-2's paperwork. You won't get an RFE if you do happen to provide a separate I-864 with supporting docs for the K-2. It's just not required.

Is this going to be ok? She did not arrive with her mom, so thats why I did not file them at the same time.

was your wife's K-1 Visa issued Aug 18, 2010?

Yes..Really we have been trying to get her passport since Feb. of 2011. the DFA took so long. She received her passport Aug.20.

and that is why we have been rushing to get her here.

Thank you so much. its all come down to 9 days before the visa expires(Aug. 18th). It took the DFA over 4 months to issue the passport for her, her interview at the embassy was on Aug 3rd.. we are waiting to get the visa back so we can get her here. we need the CFO and also a DSWD form which requires the CFO sticker.. So much to do in less than 9 days.

I have been searching for the req.'s for her departure ( ie. prism,CFO,DSWD or ?)

She is 12 years and, received a K2 visa. Is this all she needs to exit the PH.?

She will be traveling alone. WE will ask the air lines,(most likely PAL, at a cost of $75 to escort thru the terminals).

Any advice on the best way to proceed ?

Well we had our interview today...

The appt. was for 10:30 we arrived at 10, we got called in at 11:15 .

The officer apologized for the wait time(he said he needed to check on the bounced check).

Our original submitted payment was not paid because we had to close the checking acct. because of ********.

Then he made a comment about me telling my wife not to pick the tomatoes when there green and wait until they turn red.

The funny thing is our back yard is full of green tomatoes right now and I am constantly telling her DON'T PICK THE GREEN ONES !!!!!!

He got that info from our submitted 129F application which included our printed yahoo conversations.

He had every paper we have submitted to date.

He was went thru our complete application and wanted some original doc's. i.e. birth cert.s marriage.

and then asked for prof the we are a couple... ins. papers checking acct.. bills.

At one point he said enough... I believe you two are a couple and that later today he would order card production.

and...

On July 15, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

He said we would get it in 10-20 days.

We received an update today....Interview is on July 15.

I have noticed that a lot of the case's that filed there I-485 before there I-94 expired have had a fairly rapid processing and no interview.

Anybody else notice this?

On May 17, 2011, we received your corrected payment of the filing fee on this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. The case is being processed at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER.. :dance:

On May 17, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION.

On May 3, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT. .. approved before bio metrics

.... A GOOD DAY FOR ALL

OK... here is our update

Received NOA's for I-485, I-765, I-131... 4-15-11....1 month after they received our packet.

Received BIO Metrics letter for I-485, I765 on 4-28-11...with appointment on 05-24-11.

We did walk in for bio metrics on 05-11-11, and because we live in So California ..... they almost didn't want to let us in

so I made up a couple of story's and they did... Good thing we where early because 5 minutes after they gave us our number

about 20 people came in and they where packed.... So about 45 minutes in there and out.

So that's all good news..

Now the bad news....

The original check submitted with our packet did not get cashed....I had to close the bank acct. for reasons I can't say.

No problem.. I called Burlington Finance Center on 4-24-11 and they said there is a Invoice Number that will be dated 04-25-11 but has not

been printed yet but I can Pay on the phone ...GREAT...and I do.... they moneys were drawn on my acct 04-27-11..

Well USDHS never received the payment notice and yesterday 5-13-11( Happy Fri. the 13th) we get a letter dated 5-09-11 saying our case is closed for non payment of fees. I call customer srvc. and no I have to get copys of the invoice,cancelation letter reciet number and mail to them....

so the nightmare of trying to fix all this is just beginning.

Actually you're wrong. There is NO document required for AP such as the example you gave. It's all there in the instructions that for AOS applicants it's not required.

Please explain where in the instructions it says that..

Any body know the price of a passport for a child in the Philippines?

Sorry to sound complicated.

Once she gets her passport ,physical and all she needs to to do is go to the embassy in Manila.

Her visa is waithing.

I'm putting together the AOS papers for my wife.

She arrived with a K1 and her daughter was included and was granted a visa at the same time but did not come with her mom.

We plan on getting the daughters things processing in the next 2 months since her visa expires in Aug.. 2011.

The daughter has no passport . no physical and no interview.

My Q's is on the I-485 item B. she is listed without an A#..... Is this ok?...

I will list her on the I-864 part 3, item 9... Does anybody see a problem with any of this?

Why do both of us need to file G 325?....Im confused...

My Q's....When my wife received her K1 visa here daughter was included.... but as of yet her daughter has no passport and has not had here interview ....

I wonder what to check ...applying with you yes or no?

And i plan to include her in my I 864....

Do the children need the medical exams also ?

There no need to pay all the fee's right now. She will pay for St. Lukes the day of the exam(in peso's) and for the interview she will need to to go to a sponsored BDO bank to pay the interview fee's(can do that a few days before).

The big thing is all her paper work..Her doc's need to be current and accurate.

And you should be ready to photo copy you most current pay stubs(prior to interview) and send to her via email so she can add to you I134.

Yes you can....i was there in Feb. and my girl was there with me.

NO cell phones inside ok....they will take them and you id ....and give it all back when you leave..
