if there is no interview when do you find out?

we are doing our AOS from k1 visa..

we got the noa on 11-10

we now got the biometrics appointment for 12-13

when will we find out if we are going to have an interview?

Change banks if the Banks Manager refuses to help you. You better get this under control, because the USCIS Official can possibly raise a stink over you not showing a financial stake with your Wife.

Bank of America opens accounts for anyone, they are the biggest, and they don't discriminate. Move your money, or you might regret your decision during your Adjustment of Status meeting. Mine took 55 minutes, we got yelled at and shouted at for 53 of those minutes, and our interpretor wasn't allowed inside of the meeting with us.

i went to a second bank and they said that the visa does not have enought time left to accept.

i went to get a state ID for her (lousiana) they would not accept the visa because she does not have 180 days left before the visa expires.

its the bank managers that are giving me the issues.

i would try a more national bank but they would not give me the same interest rates. my local banks give me 3-4%

i think i will just wait for her green card.

i am trying to add my wife to my back account.. we have just applied for AOS..

she has a SSN with the "for work only with approval" on it..

my bank has issues saying that the visa is expired.

besides the packet from the embassy.. passport with visa.. what else do you need at the POE... i remember someone saying something about the xray.

when i(citizen) arrive in the USA with my fiancee.. i assume she has to go thru the line for foreigners.. can i go in the same line as her? or do we have to separate and i go in the line for us citizen?

If you have airline miles this is the best time to use them..

to everyone visiting their fiancee dont forget to open a miles account with the airline you fly.

my fiancees airline ticket cost me $50.. and that from chile to hawaii then to my home..

without miles this would cost over $3000..

If anyone here used Child Support and bank account and has succesfuly obtained an approval? I know what it entails, my question is has anyone gone thru it?

i was short $7000 on my income requirements.. i used bank account that showed 3 times the difference in cash.. we had no issues at all with it..

let someone else confirm this but child support is income.. but im sure you have to put the child as a dependent on the AOS.

Do you know how long the process takes once they send your application to the embassy in London? Also, how long is the medical clearance and what happens after that?

if you dont mind me asking, when you are given the visa, how many days do you have to leave the Uk or is it based on the length of your visa? is it a 6 months or 1 year via...?

just notarize the last page of the i-134.. where he signs..

in my case im self employed so i included my tax forms... and i had to show assets so i included bank statements

if he had a normal job he should include paystubs and w2s.. but noone of that stuff has to be notarize

Can you tell me what did you send off along with your I-134? we just got our NOA1 but we want to be prepared in advance

I sent my fiancee

-the i-134.. with my tax forms.. and bank statements..

-My old itenaries and boarding passes

-I have already booked tickets for me to pick her up and go to hawaii to get married so i included that as proof that we plan to get married right away.

she had to fill out a form and send it in ahead of time.. and fill out another form to take with her.

She did her medical already but wait to you get to you packet.. all they really did was take blood... xray.. eye test and give her a shot.. nothing physical

She reprinted our pictures incase they ask..

nothing much you can do till you get the packet..

you have plenty of time after the noa2 but time does move fast.. we had about 7 weeks.. interview is next week

If you need any help with translations let me know.. my fiancee has a translator/interpreter degree from chile.. but that letter will be fine as long as the translation is done right.. My good for nothing laywer had someone translate my fiancees birth cert... the letter they put was pretty much the same thing..

in our packet from the consulate in chile they give specific instructions to have the i-134 notarized..

i was sure to have mine notarized..

there was not really much room for it but my lawyer stamped it and drew a line and signed it..

I do not want to panic yet please help me understand this I-864 form when using a joint or co sponsor whatever you may call it.

I am bellow the poverty guideline (by 2,00 dollars) to sponsor my husband, so I will be using a co sponsor. I have two children that live with me so that makes us three... do I include my husband as well on the form when I fill it out?

When my co-sponsor fills out form I-864 she has 4 people in her household (herself and three kids) who does she sponsor?? my husband only?

She is not sponsoring my husband and myself and my two kids correct?

i was told you need 3 times the difference in assets... so if you are $2 short then you will have to have assets of $6..

OMG you just answered my next question!! should I continue with the expedite through NVC and the Consulate? I figured I could so when I get my case # just let them know?

is the NVC process different for i-129 vs i-130..

for my i-129 it took 2 days for nvc to receive and send..

mine never made it to the post office..between my laywers office and the post office it got lost.. we just reprinted everythign and sent it in. 3 days later the check was cashed and i had my case number.. my fiancees work history paper was the only thing i sent in without a true signature.. and they never said anything about it.. my fiancee emailed me a photo and i made a passport photo at CVS for $.39.. i waited pass 30 days before i knew what happened

Hello every one.

First time to post here. VSC seems to be having a problem with my I-129F petition, it was delivered on June 21, 2010 and still no NOA1 and my check has not cleared my bank as of July 17,2010. I have tried to contact someone at VCS but can not get a good contact and of course no information. Since no receipt number I can not check status and the national center for customer service will not do anything till after 30 days since it was delivered to VSC. I had a friend that sent in I-129F petition to VSC delivered May 4, 2010, NOA1 dated May 4, 2010 and his check cleared his bank May 6, 2010, NOA2 dated June 23, 2010(approved). I was expecting a similar time line since these two were only 7 weeks apart for delivery dates. Does any one have any ideas why mine is so slow or what I can do to get it started processing? Thanks for any help or information anyone can provide.

do you have tracking number on package?... i would not waste time.. resubmit... mine got lost too.. they cash the checks right away.. so just assume its lost.. sorry to tell you this..
