  1. "Help!!!!" shows that you are panicking. Just chill. I would send it by next week. Just make sure it doesn't reach them earlier than 3 months.

There are tons of posts on the forum telling you about their evidences. Mainly it should include joint place of residence ( mortgage papers, home ownership ), inter mingled finances ( Tax Transcripts , Joint Bank Accounts, Credit Cards ), proof of shared lifestyle, kids if any, some pics, health / auto insurance policies etc.

Affidavits are good, but personally I think that the ISO will believe these financial documents are the proof rather than your friends or family.

SO here is the issue. my husband covers all the Bills, and he never added me on any of his bills, also i had an issue earlier in the Year about the Taxes, cus he didnt want to file, so i went and file on my own. the only thing we have together is Health Insurance, and a life insurance policy. other than that we do everything separete, no Kids. i do have pictures, and proof of the same address. thats it? so that is why i am also scared. thanks.

  2. hello, as far as i know i am supposed to send the I-751 for Removal of Conditions, 90 Days Prior my Temp Green Card Expiration?

well my Green Card Expires on November 4- 2010 . i would like to know when is apropiate to send it. 90 days would be after Agugust 4th?

will it be too soon if i send it that same week.? should i wait longer??

also i would like to know what to include in the package, and if any affidavit letters have to be notarized ? thanks for your help.

  3. I wonder if anyone understands this form like I do:

Required Evidence of r/ship (pg 2 of 751): Submit copies of evidence indicating that the marriage upon which you were granted conditional status was entered in "good faith" and not .... Submit copies of as many dox as you wish to establish the fact and to demonstrate the circumstances of the r/ship from the date of the marriage to the present date .... The dox should cover but not limited to the following examples:

    1. B/C

    2. ...

    3. Financial records showing joint ownership of assets & joint responsibility for liabilities, such as joint savings and checking accounts, joint federal and state tax returns, insurance policies that show the other spouse....

    4. etc etc.

Anyone who has successfully removed conditions, did you submit ALL of these dox??? I think these are just examples of evidence USCIS suggests. I dont' think they mean you submit them all, ofcourse the more the merrier. Should I be getting worried if I don't have one of them? :innocent:

    thank you.

i have other evidence and i was reading yesterday about what to file in the package. and if i provide everything but the joint taxes. just mine? i hope i dont have a problem. but if i get called for a second interview. and i am honest and can proof that this is a real marriage. i hope i dont get deported... im getting very scared...

  4. Let me try to explain this like I would explain this to a 6-year-old.

Even if she files her taxes for 2009, she (a) has NO RETURN for 2008 (or 2007, for that matter), and (b), she ownes the taxes for said years, as neither she nor her husband have filed.

    Step down to a 5-year-old.

Somebody who owes the IRS taxes for two years, and somebody who cannot provide the requested tax returns, will not get a 10-year Green Card, nor will she be able to become a naturalized USC until this issue is resolved.

I rest my case, as I can't find out how to explain this to a 4-year-old.

Just Bob" you dont have to be ofensive.. i dont think any one in here is under 6 years old. all i am asking for is some opinions and advice. i thank all of you who help me without sarcasm or negative critics...

    i guess i well seek a lawyer. thanks .

  5. Actually that's not true. The I.O. is more interested in whether it is a real marriage, not so much on whether things are going well or not. As a matter of fact my attorney told me of several cases of ROC interviews where the USC started going off on the spouse and accusing of marrying only for immigration purposes and the officer shrugged it off and approved it.

In my opinion, if she files as married but separately, then if she gets called for an interview she can just tell the I.O. straight out that her husband refused to file his taxes which will make her look good and him look bad. :)

thank you all for the advices. this is what i am trying to explain. this is a Real Marriage. of course like any other marriage has its ups and downs. and right now thing are hard because of the tax issue. i have been beging him to file. and he is always saying that he is going to do it. how ever it is excuse after excuse. he wont be honest with me regarding on the reason why he wont file. he is a port authority police officer and makes over 90 grant a year. im sorry for getting personal here, but may be someone can open my eyes and explain to me or give me the reason why. since i am a little naive or lets call it ignorant in this subject of taxes. like i said this is my first year working and having a valid social security and that is why i really want to file my taxes. i am very responsible when it comes to credit and accounts but he is not. "big issue" that is why we keep separate bank accounts. and pay all our bills separate.

in terms of proof i do have my drivers liscence, with our address, we have same car insurance, and health insurance. we have friends and neighbours that can provide letters of affidavits, but we dont have any house bills because he "pays for all" i do have my phone bill with the address. would that be enough proof? but i am so exhausted about asking him to file i really dont see another option but to file separate. but i am really scare when it comes to removing conditions . i of course dont want to be denied. please any advise

  6. If she owes taxes, she is a bad resident. Bad residents don't get rewarded with 10-year Green Cards. Anybody home?

its my first year with a job, that i can do taxes. and i DO WANT TO FILE MY TAXES. why would i be a bad resident if i do want to file. i dont understand why some people say its okay for me to file separte as long as i do take care of my taxes. is this just cus immigration requires it? because i know many regular marriages that do their taxes separate. isnt immigration looking to proof that this is a real marriage?

  7. thank you for all the answers.. well yeah i have been talking to him about it ever since i found out that he wasnt doing his taxes . and that was when we first got married. and i filed for the green card. he said that he doesnt have to pay taxes, because they take them from his pay check. i know is a lie. so this has caused several arguments. i really want to do my taxes. he keeps avoiding it. i dont know if this will really affect me when i filed for the removal of condition.

  8. thank you for replying so promptly. okay but when i send the next application to remove my conditional status, dont i have to send copy of taxes? what else do i send? to prove that we are together besides pictures. we only have car insurance together and health insurance,... no bank accounts or bills, because he takes care of it all. and i have my own bank account so i dont know .. some people scare me and tell me that they will doubt it and get me deported. =(

  9. hi, i am married to a US citizen, i am currently a conditional permanent resident, and i will have to file for the removal in august 2010. since my 2 year green card expires in november. now this is my problem, my husband hasnt done his taxes since 2006. when i sent all the applications i never send the taxes and they never gave me problems, and when i went to the interview with my husband they didnt ask many questions. nothing about taxes. but now. since i have been a conditional resident since november 2008 i got a job last year , and i want to do my taxes. what will happen if i file separately. i am aware that some couples do that. but since i am not a citizen and i have to watch what i do. then i am very confuse cus my husband keeps avoiding to do the taxes... please helpppppp!!! thanks a bunch
