  1. I mean u only got touched just yesterday? since u sent your rfe?

    Yup, VSC received my RFE response back in March (30th to be exact). I sent it via FedEx. I have been checking the website everyday day from then onwards. I just received a touch on the 21st of April. My case is now being processed! I don't know what happened, just praying for a quick turnaround. All this waiting is really frustrating.

    What is your status?

  2. Received my RFE way back in March. VSC is asking for more proof that we met with in the last 2 yrs (2007 - 2009)

    So made a huge info packet hoping to satisfy their request.

    :bonk:

    Lets see what happens.

    Still kinda laughing at the fact, that i fedexd the request packet two days (march 29, and some one signed for it on march 30) after i received the RFE. They finally decided to open the packet and up-date their status yesterday!!!!!!!!! :rofl:

  3. Please don't take any of responses personally, I just hope it helps you:

    1. Photos are considered secondary evidence

    2. You might get an RFE, I am not saying you will, but all USCIS cares about is that you have met in the past 2 years. Photos are nice, but boarding passes/passport stamps are the primary evidence. Keep those handy and if you do get an RFE requesting that evidence, send it out right away

    3. Just gotta wait this out, your number is coming up

    4. Touch means "last updated" when you look at your case once you are logged in to the USCIS website

    Just checked the website right now, got an RFE notice! You were right, lets see what more evidence they are requesting. In the mean time, have all my boarding cards, passport stamps, with my degree, and transcript all ready to send out. Lets hope its not that major causing a further delay. Any one know how long the wait will be after sending the RFE? Wedding plans are in November.

  4. @ Martyshk

    Thanks for in the information.

    I realized back then that i made a serious mental blunder by forgetting to including them. Hopefully they over look it.

    As far as pics begin secondary. My reasoning being, should it not warrant more weight? All the pics taken i took were time/date stamped. I mean the pics included a formal engagement ceremony, family get together, birthday parites (both mine and hers), family dinners, religious holiday celebrations...etc.

    I had the liberty to stay in Pakistan for 5-6yrs plus, reason being that i was studying there. If need be, i can even show them my Medical Degree!

    If the RFE were needed, would i have not received it earlier? The timing is just bothering me. I was in the RFE forum and majority of the people that got an RFE received it well before 3months, some even within 3-4 weeks.

    As far as USCIS website, my last touch was 12/10/2009. We are just hoping for any (positive ofcourse) response

  5. Hey guys, thanks.

    @ PanamaJack

    Hehe. I apologize, meant to say over 100 pics. I know it was a bit excessive, but I was told the more "visual" evidence the stronger the case?!

    @Martyshk

    When i sent my package in, i was kicking my self for about 2weeks straight because i left the copies of my visa stamps and my actual boarding passes on my desk. I was deep into my final exams and just wasn't thinking. I hope not including them doesn't effect my case?

    @healyium

    Glad to see i am not alone. Just got to hang in there.

    General Question:

    It may have been answered but what does the the term "touch" mean. I saw it alot on the time lines that people have in their signatures?

    thanks

  6. Hey guys,

    New to the site.

    Just want say congrats to all the people who have been approved!

    My story is that I am still waiting for my NOA2. I filed way back in December. Sent the I-129F, two G325A forms, and both of us signed letter of intents. Followed the instructions to the exact word. I even sent close to 1000pics of planned/random meetings of both of us. There were about 50pics just from ring ceremony with both sides of family. Visual evidence was plenty. But no written evidence (other then the letter of intents).

    I check the USCIS website everyday and get the same "initial review" status. I have signed up for the e-mail alerts as well.

    I went through all the posts and read everyone else time lines, i saw people with similar dates to mine, but have they received their NOA2 just this past week, some even earlier. Still waiting for mine.

    Our wedding date is in November. Just worried.
