I started with Turbo Tax but its the free one i think im going to take the plunge and buy the basic version, i know that the money is nowhere near the limits but i shall take a few hours this week sit down with all the paper and get these things sorted

I moved over to the US from the UK on a CR1 visa back in May, All is good and have a job....Now its tax season and we are both stuck with how to file our taxes, do I have to declare what I earned in the UK which is a really small amount or do i just file with what we have on the w2

any help would be fantastic and im really not bothered about getting extra money i just want these taxes settled quickly and easily

Now I have a visa in hand I’m looking to get moved to the states only problem is the contents of my life... while it might only be a few things it’s not all going to fit in to a small suitcase, with this I was hoping someone could recommend a good shipping service and also give some advice on how to ship and receive the items with not being in the country.

I was in the USA on a J1 Visa and came back after it expired in 2008 while on the visa I became engaged and married in Sept 2009, we have just got to the final stage with the NVC and have been told that we need to fill out paperwork with criteria, after looking around here and the rest of the web im still unsure what this is, if it is the homestay rule then that will be up in October, does that mean that they won’t approve until then or can I apply to have these conditions removed?

We have had the NOA 2 but the package seems to be taking an age to get to the UK thanks to the Volcanic Ash grounding flights to the uk, i hope everyone gets a result soon

Just cheked the USCIS website and it says that they have approved the i130. 1 part down plenty of more obsticals to go

Hi we have just submitted the i-130 for a cr1 visa, i am currently in the uk and in the process of selling my house, how do i change the address to my new property which will be in the UK? and will this been seen as a bad for my visa??

What biometrics appointment are you talking about?

from what i can gather the USC has to go and provide fingerprints or biometrics taken

i am hoping all of the paperwork is sorted, it would be nice to be able to spend christmas together

We Submitted the i-130 on the 4th and check was chashed and noa sent on the 9th, has anyone had the biometrics appointments sent through yet?
