We are a little anxious about the time it's taking to get the NOA2, but with keeping in touch and supporting each other through the long days we are getting through it. This long, hard wait is only bringing us closer together and making our bond that much stronger. I want the NOA2 more than anything so I know where we stand, but I also understand it's a waiting game. Gotta love it huh...

We're doing the best we can. We just keep talking and supporting each other, especially on the tough days. We faced my birthday apart, and now Derek's as his birthday is July 22. I don't know how we manage to keep going being so far apart, but we're taking it one day at a time. Waiting just over 10 years to do this has been one heck of a ride, and we know we still have a bumpy road to travel until this is over and we are finally both on the same side of the pond.

On May 10, 2010 Derek and I were married in a pagan "handfasting" ceremony. This marriage is not registered, or even recognised by either England or the US, but it was our way of making a committment to each other. Pictures of our ceremony were included with our I129-F to show that we do have a serious and true relationship. I also included cards and letters from as far back as 2000. Hello everyone. I am going to be posting our I-129F tomorrow and wonder how nervous I will be waiting for a reply. I will be posting it so it has to be signed for as well as to get a return receipt so I know someone got it.Any advice will be gratefully appreciated.
