and according to timelines I should receive my EAD by Dec 6, AP by Dec 13 and interview by Jan 28 (if they chose to interview us). All I want is to be home for Christmas!

I sent mine yesterday! Man our wedding/aos timeline is similar haha. I would have sent mine sooner had I known I didn't need to meet with a civil surgeon.

No I was printing my AOS package and made double copies.

My car is an '06 so other than the recall it's fine. The recall has been fixed and I have the invoice and a letter from the dealership I bought it from's manager. Now just need to go to the ministry of transportation!

I am moving to NY, I don't think so. My fiance just got a car and he didn't have to do it. Just a safety.

Honestly the ####### w/ her is putting a damper on it all. It's really too bad. She owes me almost two grand and now I may not even be able to bring my car and would have to get a new one = over 12g less rich AND in need of a car.

Looon story. One she damaged it while I was away with the Canadian Forces and never fixed it (short version) and she said she had a recall fixed on it last winter but never did and now I cannot get a compliance letter in time. The dealership will give me a letter from the manager stating I had it fixed but that GM cannot update their official documents until after I have moved.

POE is now officially Sept 3! Just got the approval notice from our new rental agency that the apartment is ours.

If I have my passport and Visa back in time.

It's not too late yet... but from the sounds of it they haven't issued many interviews for Sept. Maybe they'll throw out a whole bunch of dates in the first week of Sept.

Uh huh. Should have the Visa in hand in a week or so. Planning POE on Sept 7 because that's when the apt is available and figure 14 business days is enough time to receive my passport back. I have tons of info but I'll just include it in a post soon.

OH NO! I hope my bad luck isn't rubbing off on you... but then again I did get my interview date a week after our GPS (among things) was stolen from my car...

I have been reading up and I don't think I need the NOA2 either, so should be ok. Now it's just getting my criminial record check on time and the medical report! One down at least right? I won't complain though. Just happy they came through.

and yes it was an expedited interview. I told them when his leave started and that I was unemployed and can go on short notice. Can't believe they came through. I have to say... I HEART MTL.

Ya well I requested an expedite on the NOA2 so hopefully it'll arrive in time. Worst case I guess I just can't get the Visa in hand until I can send them the NOA2. Thats the scary part.

Hang in there - mine took 72 days, and CSC is a bit slower now than when I applied. I am sure you'll be getting it soon!

I've already cut one from the list... now I won't officially decide on 'the one' until we know exactly when the wedding will be because the time of year and location will affect which I chose. All 3 are very different. I was trying to avoid the typical wedding gown look that every other woman has and am very happy with my final 3.
