Hi everyone,
I am looking into a job but i am currently pending. I know my eligibility to stay here was extended for a year while i am pending but am i able to work? I want to start a new job but i am not sure how i would show them i am eligible to work in the U.S document wise, and if pending would put them off employing me. Just wondering if anyone had a similar situation.

Thank you. How long did it take you to receive your biometrics letter?
-
Is the first time you find about your case when you receive a letter in the mail, or do they email you? They just received my packet today
-
Hey,
I just have a few questions regarding the packet. First off did you post mark your packet, and if so how? Also, did you write the address on the envelope?
-
Thank you for the info everyone!
-
Thank you for your response. Ok so it takes thwm fairly quickly to look at the paperwork after receiving it?
-
Thanks. Do you know what happens if they don't get around to seeing it until after your expiration date? I am assuming they get tons of packets daily

I am sending my packet on Monday, but i have one month left until my GC expires. Has anyone else cut it pretty fine in filing? I have had an extremely busy time this last few months, and now i am concerned it is too late

It is for removing conditions. Isn't the only form the 1-751 for this?

Hey guys,
About to send my packet and have a few questions:
1) Do we have to resend a marriage certificate copy? Anything else that has to be resent?
2) Did anyone staple pages or not?
3) I am 6 weeks out before it expires, has anyone else sent theirs pretty late?

Hey all,
We have medical/dental/vision insurance together, car insurance, copies of our bank account, new pictures from last time, and a tax return from last year (although it has do not file printed on it as it is a viewable version, so i hope they don't mind this in big letters). I tried to print it without that, but it won't let me. I feel like we don't have much, but we have lived with our folks for almost a year now, so we don't have any utility bills, and the ones we did have prior were sent last time.

Hi all,
I have one last question on the form. I have an example, and for number 5 do i leave blank or fill no for everything? The example form i am following selected no for everything, so i was confused thinking why they would select no for everything if they have a disability, and whether this didn't apply to them but we are supposed to select all No's, or just leave it blank?

Also, do i put the A# on my spouse section also seems it is one case and he is my husband and the U.S Citizen? I feel like the A# only applies to the GC holder, but i just want to double check. Also, number 15 states conditional residency ends on (date). Is this when my current 2 year GC expires?
-
Thank you. What items did you include that are mandatory and you must include? A copy of the GC is one right? Also, are passport photos of both my husband and i necessary? Last time i also had a record that i included saying i have never been arrested or have any charges against me. I am assuming you only have to include this in the form if you do have these issues?
-
I just re-read the instructions and it says if it doesn't apply to you leave it blank. This is so confusing as i know a lot of people write n/a or none, but they specified not to do that. I wonder if they changed it recently?
-
So i guess in care of name can be filled in with n/a?
-
Thank you for the info! I also just found two other questions:
1) Where would the A number be? Is this on the GC?
2) What does in care of name mean in the address section?
-
Hi all,
I am doing our forms currently and have a few questions.
1) Does it matter if the email address section is lower case?
2) Should any field not applicable be left blank or should N/A or none be entered?
3) I am keeping my maiden name until i file for citizenship. In section one they ask for other names including maiden name. Should i leave this blank seems i already stated my name in the regular name box, or should i input my name again here to specify this is my maiden name?
4) I printed these forms and realized at the very bottom of every page under the line that basically ends the page the page number and date are cut off. Does this matter? I know they can be pretty specific in what they want so just wanted to check this.

Hi all,
My husband and i have been living with his parents for about 8 months now since we have been saving up for an apartment. We move in on October 30, but are going to send off our paperwork tomorrow. Do we need to mention we are moving? We will move during pending processes, but i do not want to put the new address because obviously we don't live there yet.

I wondered how many of you had to interview again? I don't mind interviewing again, although it can be a bit daunting. Do they randomly pick who to interview?
-
Is there a form that has to be filled out for the biometrics, or do they just take the fee and do whatever they need to do? Also, how did you pay the fees? Is it ok to pay by check, or money order? Who is the check made out to? Sorry for all the questions, i am just about to submit everything soon
-
Do you have to do the biometrics fee included in the money to the uscis for the form? I noticed some state biometrics if necessary, but i wasn't sure what they meant by that. I already did it last time
-
Thanks Ian. I am assuming that is all long with evidence?

So we file jointly the I-751, we do not have two i-751 forms and each fill out one? Is the 1-751 the only form we send in? I wonder why the person told me one each. Weird!
Still no word after 7 months
in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion

My husband and i applied in October and still haven't heard anything on our case and it has been 7 months now. Is this normal? I am wondering how much longer i should wait before i maybe follow up. It went to Vermont originally, but then when i changed my address on the website i got a letter saying my case had then been sent to California.
