    Why did the interview have to be so close to thanksgiving? Tough to get tickets/seats!

      Interesting. Well, I am wondering if they are taking time off for thanksgiving...extended period so they go can for a vacation in India.

      Congrats on the interview date, the consulate in India could be busier then other consulates due to the number of applicants from that country or city in general.

      My husbands paperwork was soo mixed up at the consulate after he received his visa, when he told LAX USCIS POE officers of his experience, they adviced him that the consulate offices are so busy looking out for terrorists that they neglect other things at times. I don't think that should be the excuse for messing up someones visa documents, thank god everything was sorted before he left the country.
