Aaaaw intergalactic, I'm sorry the response you got from USCIS is not the response you wanted to hear. But like everyone else, I'm hoping everything falls into place for you. Just keep a positive outlook on the update you got, I'm pretty sure you'll hear good news soon.
I got my card in the mail last wednesday, aug 20.

Updating Gurl's approval date. Aye!!!! I knew this was our month for approvals...

Hi everyone! So, I am getting a bit antsy because I have moved over a month ago and I'm concern if I did the right thing with regard to updating my address with USCIS. Here's the information I came across: http://www.uscis.gov/addresschange
I went with the step in the second box and didn't do steps 1 and 2 since the last paragraph states: "Use our convenient Online Change of Address system to complete steps 1 and 2 at the same time. Once you complete Form AR-11 online - the system will also provide you the opportunity to change your address on any pending or recently approved applications. If you use our Online Change of Address to complete Form AR-11, you do NOT need to file a paper Form AR-11."
Basically, I did the Online Change of Address. I have a confirmation number for making the change. But I was just wondering if I did the right thing. This meticulous process makes me second guess myself.

Hi everyone. I have a question. So, my husband and I filed for my I-175 and I'm done with my biometrics last month. We''re moving to another apartment by the end of next month. How do I update USCIS with our new address?

Hi all. I added myself to the list. I checked our bank statement and the check's cleared last tuesday. Yay! I was half expecting they'd send my application back because i forgot to sign the cover letter. Lol!

Affidavit of support for tourist visa

Hi! I would like for my parents, that are in the Philippines, to visit us in the US. I have read somewhere that although an affidavit of support is not necessary, it could help in the application. I will be paying for their plane tickets and all necessary expenses suring their stay here. My question is, did anyone on here do the same thing? I know that getting them approved depends on the proof of their strong ties to the Philippines, but I'm wondering how much of a bearing is the affidavit for the visa application/approval, if any? Thank you!
