Not much interview like the previous one, the CO keep my passport and gave me the small white paper with stamp that I must coming back next week to get my passport...

I feel happy because I have read in this forum if they grant a visa, they will give this small paper and keep our passport...?

Anyone please if inform me if this information is true...???? I was so happy and tell my husband...but worried until passport in my hand next week...

    Thanks a lot...

I wonder if this OK and consular will except it?? even different than what they asked for..but have the same meaning tax transcript copy of recent tax return

Thank you very much for your quick response..

  3. Dear Vj Member,

I am worried too much..I will going to submit our co-sponsor I-864A form, will be my mother in law she is 83Y/O...She has very good income from houses rental n apartment...income more than 125% above poverty level,

We only have tax transcript 1040 (most recent tax return), Bank statement, property holder etc...

But since she is not working and self employee, she does not have W2 tax transcript...

I am so worried because embassy officer asked for copy of most recent tax return 1040 & W2....but we don't have W2.......

Did any one know if this OK???

Please kindly inform me if you have same experience with me....thank you very much...

  5. Hi Harley,

Thanks for your response on my forum topic....

I guess you are flying to USA today?? do you??

Regarding we have the same case, I would like to get some information from you...my husband will send me the affidavit support from co-sponsor and copy of most recent tax return (1040 & W2) from co-sponsor...

As per your experience with consulate before, please advise me what kind of document/paperwork should I submit more together with all the affidavit support and 1040 & W2???

I worried we make mistake again......Please kindly advise me...........

Thank you very much Harley......Warm regards...

    Amira

  6. Right now there is no new project yet for him...thats why we are going to travel to USA for awhile see friends and family, He was working internationally for late 10 years..he make 65.000$.. beside that he collect money from the houses rental each month..in USA he does not have much exspenses no need to pay for house/apartment cause he has his own house to live as well.....

  7. Oh...I thought I was alone...so we have the same problem...what we can't except is my husband income is higher than any employee in USA...he made very good income abroad as international worker,..we have a very nice life...traveling arround the world, playing golf etc.....But still not enough for embassy..we are very sad and frustrating yes...

My husband talked to his brother about joint sponsor but still no decision yet..i can understand that this is not easy decision for them..so let them think about it for a while...My mother in law willing to be our joint sponsor but she is 84 y/o and she does not have job only living from pension and property rental from other...I worried this could be a problem...

So you have get the joint sponsor, and did you submit them to embassy already??? I am coriouse how long it will take after you submit them......Please kindly share your story with us....Thank you very much...and best wishes for your next interview...

  8. Dear VJ forum,

I have more question about affidavit support.....

We still can't believe/hardly to believe that US Embassy refuse my visa CR1 with financial reason...which my husband has submit the form I-864 and other supporting document...then consulate at embassy asked me to submit another affidavit support from co-sponsor..

Is that possible for my husband to re-submit the affidavit support with more evidence because its hard to except the decision of USA embassy..which far away from reality...Fyi my husband has been working internationally out side of USA for along time..

I am waiting for any response from all of VJ member...thank you very much in advance

  9. I would like to thank you to all of the forum member here, all the comments is meant a lot for us...

But now I still have more question...:

My husband will ask his brother whom living in different state with him to be our co-sponsor...my husband live in California and his brother live in Chicago,.which form he should fill in..I-864 or I-864A????

And what document he need to attach together with the form??? Beside his most recent tax return 1040 & W2...he is USA citizen born and live in USA...

Does he need to attach his bank statement that shown his coming income regularly, passport copy and any other ID card?????

I am waiting for your info and help.. Thank you very much in advance...

  10. Thank you Bobby+Umit...

Yes you right we need to review again what he wrote in the previous document...maybe he make some mistake and not correctly...

Your info is useful for me....wish me luck...

Property certificate? He should be providing this also:

Statement from the bank showing deposits/savings, etc. (since he is "self-employed" and retired - this would show and retirement pay/deposits from renters)

    Tax transcripts (again, self employed)

Any other evidence of income level (and how it's coming in)

    _____

The mere fact he owns property cannot show he makes the level of income needed for the I-134. He would need to show that money coming in (income)

Your religion or where you come from does not factor into this - it appears your husband did not fill out the paperwork correctly, and they acted accordingly.

Correct the problem and you will have the visa.

Of course you can contact them. Most like email. The paper should have information on what they want and how to send it. (and most likely who to contact)

  11. Thank you very much TracyTN,

He will get a joint sponsor from his brother and will arrived in my hand in about 10days......I am happy to hear from you, I hope it is true that I will get the visa and be with my husband ASAP....after we submit the paper...

Should we inform embassy that the paper will arrived in 10 days??

    Once again..thank you very much...

  12. We do not know that we are allowed to contact the embassy.....because they only give me a paper with some information that we must submit...

I worried they will send back our paper to NVC and waitttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttting again for along time.......is that possible to contact embassy directly??

Thank you very much for your attention....its meant a lot for me

  13. Thank you very much 'MsSheka'

all he needs to do is to submit a I-864 from someone who meets the income requirement(125% of the federal poverty level) ...

Basicly my husband did very well with his financial, he just retire last year and been working in his life as General Manager in Big USA company arround the world..beside he has some property to be rent to people...this is more than 125% of the poverty standard...so We still do not understand why they need other co-sponsor...Well...i am thinking probably they do not want us to be together, because we are muslim and Indonesian....I am sorry to be negative...:((

Do you know how long it will take after we submit all document that they need..? my husband also planning to submit his property certificate together with co-sponsor paper...

  14. Thanks for your reply...

My husband told me he will ask his brother to be a co-sponsor...and will send them in about two weeks will arrived in my hand...

The officer does not tell me about time limit,.but i just worried too much now....i also read once your visa been denied..they will send back our case and file to USCIS to be reviewed...

What should we do??? should my husband contact his lawyer or congress??

Oh we really get frustrating and disappointed,.we never meet for almost 1 year now....I miss my husband very much and love him.......

  15. I am spouse of USA citizen, I went to USA consulate in Indonesia a few days ago for interview..me and my husband was very exciting and confident that my visa will be grant soon and we will be together very soon...

But I was very sad, frustrating and disappointed the officer said my visa is not approved only a few minutes after interview...The reason according to him is : my husband income is not enough to support my life in America...I was shock with this information, HE already submit the affidavit support to NVC and has approved the application,. But consulate said he does not have enough income...I am confuse and do not understand why they have different view..???

My husband is retire from his job and own 5 nice house in CA. He collect money from the rent...I think he does not need to work hard anymore, we have enough from the property...but consulate still refuse my visa...

They need us to submit Co-sponsor from other USA citizen....PLease anyone help me with the information....Can I get my visa at the end and be with my husband soon??? and how long it will take after we submit all document that they asked for???

Thank you very much for your help and information....

I can not imagine if I can't be together with my husband...:((((((((
