I recommend you to print a lot of photos since you met him/her and take them to the interview. By experience, when I went to the interview the asked me for four fotos of our marriage and had with me a big album since we met us.

I am agree with appl21 you should write Juliana Catalina Ruiz Torres de Johnson in other names because it is the way it will appear in her peruvian ID and don't forget to write the zip code, you can find the zip codes here http://www.ohperu.com/codpostal.htm

In our case we didn't sent photos in any package. I preinted the photos and I put them into an album and they they of my interview i took my album and when in the window they asked me just for four wedding photos. Then she said: you have a big album with a lot of photos.

Hi guys!!
I just wanted to ask if having an Agency or a lawyer will help you to be approved faster than having none or if you just self applied. Im on CR1 Spouse Visa process.
Thank you for your inputs
In our case my husband did all the paper work and everything was into the timelines that USCIS show in their website. The most important is to follow the instructions and read carefully. Or Follow the examples that there is in this web page too.

When my wife arrived 4 moths ago she received to letters at the port entry in Lax, one of them was informing her that she received the CR1 visa and the green card will arrive at home, also that she has to remove condition status during the 90 days before the green card expire. About the social security she had to go to to social security after she received the green card.

I would like to know if you validated your peruvian wedding here in Peru at the Usa embassy? and what did you do here?
My husband american citizen a he is a bit confused about what are the steps to follow in USA? or what are the forms that he needs?
But RENIEC also give you a a certificate that you can use in other contries, I mean it is not a simple one that you can use only here in Lima.
Thanks
Leti
Hey any Peruvians who have gone through this...Did you send in the RENIEC registration with your I-130? The embassy website's page in Spanish says that you have to have RENIEC certification for all docs (even Lima), while the page in English states that this requirement is only for docs outside Lima. (I sent an email to the consulate asking them to clarify this on their website... probably never hear from them, but will be pleasantly surprised if I do.)
My stepson's birth certificate (from municipality of Miraflores (in Lima for you non-Peruvians playing along at home)) states that it is from RENIEC, but our marriage certificate (from the municipality of Jesus Maria (also in Lima)) does not state this. We did get the certificate registered at RENIEC (what a nightmare!!) and I have that document with me. When choosing which to send to USCIS (and before looking at the embassy website) I went with the certificate as it has our signatures on it. The RENIEC doc has places for signatures, but we were instructed by RENIEC not to sign... so it appeared to me that that one would appear fishier to the USCIS folks... now, of course, after having sent off my I-130 packet, I have begun to second guess myself.
I was having my wife's birth certificate translated to have for whatever comes up when she is here, so I sent the RENIEC doc off to be translated too. That way, if I get an RFE for this I can fire it right off.
I just thought I would throw this out to see if any others from Peru had gone through this and what your experiences were.
Okay back to worrying, second guessing and obsessing over my FedEx tracking number (I expect to hear fanfare tomorrow morning when it is delivered to the LockBox).
