Just checking in; glad you got a touch 2 days ago and hope this is the "touch" that happens when they mail it off to New Hampshire. Our case is pending security checks at NVC. See you guys in Moscow!

Kerry, one more thing that you might find encouraging. I started getting my hopes up when our case was touched on July 9,10, and 12. Then nothing happened and I started flipping out. The approval notice is dated July 9, so all of the activity that showed as"touches" happened AFTER the approval, probably as they were mailing the file to Visa Center. Who knows, yours could be approved...

I think it will happen for you in the next week (avg. is 67 days, and ours dated 7/9 at exactly 67 days). Don't worry about no touches, no SMS and no website updates either. It will probably show up in your mail this week. Good luck!

Just so you know, I signed us up for SMS and e-mail updates and have been checking USCIS website like an OCD fiend. Received no notices, no progress noted on website. But today the envelope came snail mail and we were approved. So don't freak out (like I did) if your file is touched but then nothing happens, because your approval might show up unexpectedly. We are pulling for you guys!

Congratulations! I have been watching the CSC NOA2 dates with great interest, and am happy to see that you got yours already. Not bad at all! It gives us all hope.
