Review time seems to have gone up but they haven't changed their auto email so you need to give it another week or two. Mine took around 45 days before completing last month.

I'm so excited for you!!! and just in general!
the best part of an 8 year journey coming to an end...
Funny how you seem to forget the waiting when it's this close!

    Hi longlivemania
Please can you reconfirm your PD? Mine is June 2008 and I haven't received anything to date. Starting to get worried now!

You should be current next month; the bulletin states...
"(NOTE: Numbers are available only for applicants whose priority date is earlier than the cut-off date listed below.)"
    Frustrating but you're almost there.
Movement is within the "up to three weeks" advised last month but still disappointing.
F2B is still moving ahead...how many of us would have been current by now in this category?

I saw this, on potential for executive action from President Obama, in another thread. Sound positive for all those currently waiting but, if it were to happen, I wonder how long it would take to filter down and we start to see the effect.

My PD is June 2008. I haven't heard anything re COA yet.
This wait is ridiculous now; friends I told of my intention to immigrate back when my petitioner filed can't believe I haven't moved yet. I've have friends who have married, had kids and been divorced in less time than it takes to get a visa !! Meanwhile my life is on hold but there's nothing we can do but wait

    Disappointing movement but not surprised.
I'm somewhat P'd off that F2B has advanced from 22 Oct 2006 to 1 Feb 2007. It's now just five weeks behind FB1. At this rate they'll overtake FB1 in the June bulletin and I think that's totally wrong.
Don't get me wrong; I'm happy that F2B (or anyone) is finally being processed but I think the system is wrong if it will allow LPR's to go before US citizens.

Yep, as expected but still frustrating. I can't wait to see the back of 2006.
Woohoo, congrats! Hope you're settling in well.

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is doing ok?
Hoping to hear good news re interview letters this week.
I checked the PD list and there aren't many on here with Dec 06 / Jan 07 dates...
    NAME----------------------PD----------------------CASE COMPLETED----------INTERVIEW
    KODIAK------------------06DEC06----------------------30APR12
    SJOGA-------------------21DEC06-----------------------------
    NNROSE123---------------13JAN07----------------------03SEP10
    AKANCHAWA(ZEE)----------27JAN07-----------------------------

No one with a Feb PD at all! As javisakid pointed out, there are probably many who don't know about this forum, however I still hope we have good movement; and more than the 3-5 weeks predicted.

My family in the US has been telling me all about their plans for Thanksgiving this Thursday...I hope all our VJ family who have made it stateside recently have a great day!

Good luck! Your journey is almost over.
Good luck to all with upcoming interviews. Let's hope those letters start arriving soon so we can push through to 2007...I want to see 2007 dates in the January bulletin!

    Yes, it's very frustrating.
I'd be surprised if they let F2b advance ahead of F1 though. I hope they would be able to reallocate some of those visas to F1 if it got to that point...is that even possible?? Citizenship has always been flaunted as the quickest way to petition your family so they'd have a lot of very unhappy citizens to making a stink otherwise.

And so the wait for the next bulletin begins...

I'm feeling positive for some good movement for the December and then the January bulletins. I think we'll been seeing 2007 dates by the time the new year rolls around.
I was looking for a "fingers crossed" emoticon but can't see one, so I'm using this... in anticipation of the good news coming our way!

    Fingers crossed.
    Yay for you!

You're going to be starting a "new life" in the US. Potentially, if you start a family, your descendants will only or mainly know the US. Why don't you start a project of noting your family and life history in JA? Start a family tree. Visit, take pictures and write about places that have special meaning to you. In the years to come you can have physical evidence for the memories of your former home.

True, but have their lives really been any better for it? Yes, they've been IN America, but they haven't been able to move freely or go back home to visit friends and family, for wedding and funerals etc.
They've probably had to take poorly paid "cash in hand" jobs.
The constant looking over your shoulder in case immigration is there...not for me!
Although the process is slow, we still have an advantage over many, many people who would love to start a new life in the US but will never have the opportunity to do so.

Haha. I think "rubbish" is a fantastic word! Once I'm in the US I can teach the 'Mericans some more descriptive words; like "pants" and, my favourite, "b.o.l.l.o.c.k.s"
I could also attempt to teach them how to spell correctly in English; favoUrite; coloUr, etc, but that's probably a lost cause now.

You're probably right but that's a really rubbish policy. Who can I complain to??!!
    Ain't that the truth!
That would also be rubbish. You'd think they'd want to encourage more PR's to naturalize, by giving priority to USC.
Ugh, I'm just venting because I'm tired of the waiting already . I feel like my life is on hold while I'm going through this process. I don't want to commit to anything (or anyone!) because I don't know how long I'll be around. I know it's the same for most everyone, but knowing that doesn't make it any easier!

Black pepper is too tame; chop up some scotch bonnet and we'll talk. Yeah, I know my stuff! I may be British my my roots are from JA!
I don't do all that hard food though...boiled dumplings and green banana are too stodgy for me...you can keep them!
