10 Year green card recieved on July the 1st 2013, now we are trying to get Claudias kids here. The oldest is 21, and he has been approved via USCIS, now we await the NVC to provide him with instructions

I have a question , we are about to get our NOA2 and Im starting to organize the papers to show at the interview. Did your fiancee had to show everything you sent in the I 129 package or did she take different stuff I have this doubt because Visa journey guides advise us to take everything we sent in the I129 package plus new stuff

Hey! sorry I didnt see this sooner. When we went, we had to present these items in this order, DS-230, 2 copies of the DS156 printed with different numbers, DS156K, DS157, I-134. Birth Certificate
Marriage Certificate & Termination of previous marriages ( If this applies )
Police certificates, Passports,
Deportation/Voluntary Removal papers/Asylum papers ( If this applies )
Court and prison records ( If this applies )
Applicants with previous J1/J2 visas...

Sent I-485 Fed Ex on December 21st Received on the 23rd. Got the email, and text message directly to my cell phone: Notification of Acceptance from USCIS on the 30th of December. Awaiting hard copy of I-797 within 7 - 10 days from today in the mail.

Sorry Fam.. It's been a while since I have posted anything. Me and Claudia are doing well! we are getting married on the 25th of November. Then comes the next journey, SSN, and AOS.

She is adapting well! Something I found out, She got her SSN last week. We waited, and didn't have to. For K-1 Visa Recipients they can apply for SSN as soon as they get to the states. I would suggest waiting for a week so that they have time to process that she is in the states. Then go for it. To fill out and have the application processed is free. And they receive it within 2 weeks. The lady at the counter asked me if I wanted the SSN card to state her new married name even before ...

Oh, She said that she was going to go to school to learn to speak English, also she said that she wanted to work (this is important) because you want them to know that she has a plan. This was something that was asked when preparing the DS-156 number 32 and 33 specifically. So it was important for me to be sure that everything corresponded to what she was saying. She doesn't speak any english

In rio with my baby! We got the taxes paid at the CITIBANK, The doctors appointments finished. now we have to go back to the doctors office on monday to pick up her results. Tuesday is the Entrevista!! ALMOST THERE!!

Where is the Package that my fiancee is supposed to receive? With instructions? Well wouldnt you know it, I came home yesterday, and there it was at my house. Luckily. the link for the site has all the documentation necessary for us to use.
