      Thats great news! Were still trying to get the GC and SS situated. It was their mistake putting the wrong surname on the GC.

      oh thats super! now the job search. We have another huge delay because they put the wrong last name on his GC. Infopass appt this friday for the 2nd time!

      We filled out another application, sent back the Green Card...and have to schedule another infopass appt. It was their mistake.

    Finally Got the Husbands' GREEN CARD today!! We also got a 2nd mysterious Welcome Letter, LOL. Now the SS Card.

      We probably got the card sat 9/11 but didnt check the mail till sunday. It was delivered to our PO Box. Thanks for the info milimelo :)

    In a surprising turn of events, we got a letter saying his social security card is on its way! Woo hoo!

      Congrats. My husbands POE was on Aug.3 and we just got his green card today. Do you think we have to go to the SS office too? or do they just mail it?

      Yeah I read that you can go to the SS office after 2 weeks of POE. I haven't gotten the green card either, isnt that suppose to come in 1mo-2mos?
