Hey everyone!
I took the wife to the DMV... she passed her test in english the first time
We are very happy about that, I just bought a new Toyota Corolla S with sport package fun car to drive.
She now is saying she wants a smaller car for her so I will be selling my 4x4 jimmy and we will be looking at a ... (I wonder if hot wheels would be small enough ) as she says "a small lovely car"
Hope you all are doing good!
Take good care

H.R. 2247: For the relief of Jen-Hui Tsai
This bill is in the first step in the legislative process. Introduced House bills go first to House committees that consider whether the bill should be presented to the House as a whole. The majority of bills never make it out of committee.
Introduced: May 10, 2005 Makes Jen-Hui Tsai eligible for issuance of an immigrant visa or for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident of the United States under the Immigration and Nationality Act, upon payment of the required visa fees.
Last Action: May 19, 2005: Referred to the Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security, and Claims.
This is a House bill, indicated by the "H.R." before its number. A bill is a legislative proposal before Congress. A bill must be passed by both the House and Senate and then be signed by the President before it becomes law.

Tim,
Very happy for you and you wife. Best of luck at the interview. I guess you can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Todd,
How have you been? Did you guys finally get the SS card?
David,
USCIS told me to get a state ID, the state said you must have SSN to get ID.
So I took a day off and we went to the social security office took a number and waited
about 15 min, I filled the form out before we left, the woman took all the info and used her
Thai ID along with her passport, I about fell over! 5 days her card was in the mail,
she is working days and week ends now at a Thai restaurant part time, she says "I can
practice my English then get better job" she is doing good but still misses her local food.
Oh! yes we are still trying but the oven is still empty
I hope all is well with you guys "Daddy"

Hey everybody, we finally got our interview date. I have been sworn to secrecy by my wife. It's a shame that some people in her country might want to screw up your interview but that is what sometimes happens so I can only say that the date is at the end of May. We are extremely happy about it though, and I promise I will let you guys know the minute we get the visa!

Captain Ewok,
Thank you for posting this, I am sure the right people will see it.
Jen has my full support! As do some other people in the same predicament.

Michelle Kwan, withdraws from Olympics
“Michelle Kwan means more to the United States Olympic Committee than maybe any athlete that’s ever performed for the U.S. Olympic Committee,” Ueberroth said. “She’s been a leader, she’s been gracious, she’s somebody that cares for so many youngsters that are training in our country.
So I watched the opening ceremonies, was hoping this was not going to happen.
I now have to withdraw from watching the Olympics

Hey All !
I hope everyone is doing ok
Tim & Sandy,
I hope very soon you will have dates to tell us, it has been long enough.
I also hope you have a better port of entry than Chicago
we have been battling USCIS since October, I never would have thought
congressmen and senators were powerless against DHS.
They will not help you out and do not give a damn
There I was at the immigration scene
Shining and feeling clean
Could it be a sin?
I got stopped by the immigration man
He says he doesn't know if he can
Let me in-let me in-immigration man
Can I cross the line and pray
I can stay another day
Let me in immigration man
I won't toe your line today
I can't see it anyway
There he was with his immigration face
Giving me a paper chase
But the sun was coming
Cos all at once he looked into my space
And stamped a number over my face
And he sent me running
Let me in-let me in-immigration man
Can I cross the line and pray
I can stay another day
Let me in immigration man
I won't toe your line today
I can't see it anyway
Here I am with my immigration form
It's big enough to keep me warm
When a cold wind's coming
So go where you will
So long as you think you can
You'd better watch out-watch out-for the man
Anywhere you're going.
Won't you let me in immigration man
Can I cross your line and pray
Take your fingers from the tray
Let me in-irritation man
I won't toe your line today
I can't see it anyway
