we send it last feb and they sent it back to me,said i have to resend it again 90days before it expire,i know about that, but will it be ok to travel to phil.even though my green card expires on sept??its still May now,and im flying back to PI this May 26 for my daughtes interview,will i encounter problem coming back to the state?? coz ill be in PI until June 26....i just wanna know if its ok to travel?????

Hi! so my daughters interview will be on june 5,shes 12 and im going back to PI to help her with her paper work and stuff,and come back to the states with her.My 2 years green card will expire this sept. will it be ok for me to go Philippines and come back in the states for month and renew my greencard??

I have my AoS already paid and sent out, my IV bill for Ashly paid for and the ds-230 filled out. Aside from her Birth cert. what else would go inside the packet? I remember when I got my wife here last time, I put in a lot of stuff just confirming the relationship. From what I understand and have read online, a child or step-child isn't required to have much documents. Any help from those who have done what I have? Much appreciated your help is.

Got in touch with NVC finally. So if a child has no record of a father (or mother which might be rare), put UNKNOWN. They wanted me to submit the I-864a separate from the I-184. I just need to put the form without supporting docs. I hope this helps anyone in the future

Hello to all my wonderful VJers, friends. I have a few questions to ask regarding the DS-230 and the I-184a for my step-daughter. First, My wife had my step-daugheter Ashly (yes w/o E) without the father present nor signing the birth cert. So, on the NSO Birth Cert for ashly, it says no father. It worked for the i-130, what do I put under father for Ash on the DS-230? Also, I received this notification after sending my i-184. I put the i-184a in the same packet but got this back:

Do i just resubmit the same paper work? Because I got another cover sheet for that. I'd hate to have to dig up her support paperwork again and have to resubmit it, esp her letter of employment. Her employer won't be in for a few days.

Ok, so I want to make sure I put in the right info for Section D, Line 2 of form I-130 for my stepdaughter. I got my wife here first so what Do i put in the box? It looks like this:

" 2. Have you ever before filed a petition for this or any other alien? [ ] Yes [ ] No

If "Yes," give name, place and date of filing and result."

My wife's name, I'm not sure about the place and date, but result was positive. Any feed back would be much appreciated.

Hi all. My wife completed the CFO seminar but was denied the sticker because she didn't bring a xerox of the front page of her visa packet. Since it's holiday there and her flight is next week, she can't get the sticker at the office. I read a few posts on here stating there is an office in the airport and also the lady referred her to it. Can she get the sticker there or are we going to have to waste money on another ticket....?

Any help would be wonderful =)

She did her initial exam on Tuesday(monday here) and they said she has to go back thurs(wed here) at 8am. If you don't have immunizations and they aren't packed(which they are all the time) them it can be done in one day. Other wise is close to a guarantee that it's a 2 day experience

So my wife went to get her medical done at St. Luke yesterday. While waiting forever to get the first part done, the Doc deemed her to be evaluated psychological, which is extra 1k PHP just because she has scars on her wrist and taking sleeping pills. One.. my wife was a catcher in softball and anyone who played that position either softball or baseball, will get cuts and scars over time. She has been having a hard time sleeping so she tried sleeping pills.. so what? That doesn't make her depressant or suicidal. We are both pretty upset at the way this is happening. I really hope this doesn't effect the interview at all. I can't really believe this.

Hey my case was completed on the 24th and we JUST recieved our interview date. as of 1:30am PST. It could be anytime this week if not no later than next week i'm sure they will give you an interview date.

I did the same and resubmitted my paper work about... June 4th and they received it on the 7th. My case was completed on the 24th and I JUST received our interview date!!! So it won't be long, hang in there =)

8 AUG 8:30AM YAY!!!!! Just got it right now. My wife is mixed feelings hahaha. She is excited and freaking out at the same time. Paper work always beats her up. However, this nightmare will end SOON! YAY!!!!

Thanks, i get it now. I see a lot on people's timeline, "sign in failed" and wondered about that. Now I know, thanks a lot =)

Today I called them about my RFE they told me of course again 20 Business days and I went to my sign in thing and it sadi SIF... Case is Complete..... Mine took like 8 days.....

Like someone said they have to say 20 days or 6-8 weeks but it is not true....

How do you sign in to check the status? Is that from the automated system when you call the NVC office?
